I don't know what is purpose of 1050 model, price is not a factor in this case and performance is not even better than old (Maxwell) Bit offtopic but still ?

So the mobile 1050ti have a higher clock speeds than a desktop 1050ti?

They put 1050ti mobile against 970M and it probably needed to edge it out, therefore higher clocks to be able to do that.

I've never seen mobile variant GPU faster than a desktop in the same class, strange.

The 1070 is in the same boat, the mxm variant has a higher boost clock I believe.

No, no 1070 mobile have lower clock speeds but higher number of CC (1920vs2048). That was also strange. Still performance was about the same as desktop variant.
