    I vote +1 for troll. i7 with a 7600?

It also takes alot more time to come here, create account, thread, respond and such rather than a quick google search with his mobo make.

EDIT: My boss was making me angry so this post was because of that.

EDIT MORE INFO: Like people have said above, just check with your motherboard if it has a PCI-E slot like most of the cards out today. The card you have has both AGP and PCI-e models so you need to check this before seeing card you want.

That being said you can get second hand AGP cards if you don't want to upgrade your mobo. You can grab a HD3850 if you want to go AMD but the power draw is pretty big.

Motherboard is MSI MSI X58 PLATINUM SLI(MS-7522)
I'll get on to finding out what my PSU is.

Who in the hell built this system for you with a 7600GS card in it? I'm guessing someone built the system for you as you clearly didn't do it yourself.

With that Mobo and i7 you should be getting something at least a 550ti or 6770 keeping in mind your PSU might not be that flash hot.

The motherboard and processor are both fine..so it all boils down to the power supply.

Is this a brand computer? ie HP, Dell, Gateway, so on and so forth

or did someone build it for you??

I'm not even gonna ask if it was one of the custom gaming pc companies because it wouldn't have come with a 7600...unless you put it in there.

Pop open the case and take a picture of the power supply. At least for the brand and the wattage to start.

With an MSI motherboard it wouldn't be a brand computer, unless it is a MSI branded boxed system. I'd lean toward a custom built system, likely ordered pre-assembled?

    lol, i7+7600GS = awesome.

I knew a dude who had a GTX260 with a Pentium 4 (by that time the GTX295 was the most powerful thing on the planet btw).
