I still use CS2 and it does what I need it to no matter which driver is in there.

So looks like bungie updated gfx engine a bit, BUT there is still a issue.

Now it can have flicker on water, EDZ the cove teleport, it's the same location for new heist, just right before you go to ascendant plane water flickers badly with 1 light reflection as the reflection source when you look around..

@ManuelG now this isn't game fault anymore? I mean 512 driver is still immune to this issue.

I've got RTX Super Resolution on (level 4), tried 3 browsers (Chrome, Opera and Edge), none seem to trigger Super resolution or high power draw on my 4090..
So I'm unsure if it's actually working.

Yes, they did (and were given solutions to correct the issues) and as I've stated in other posts and here, many issues here (and definitely not listed on this keynote) were reproduced **several times** and reported but clearly, the findings were overall ignored before zero-day.

Update on Nvcontainer.exe usage (6%), it came back after a day, restart that process fixes it temporarily.

    Hotfix is needed here.

Did a clean install of the driver by getting rid of all the crap I don't need or use and do not have this issue.

Absolutely nonsense, this only happens if YOU turn on the dxgi swapchain option at the bottom of the 3D settings list in nvcp.

Caused by a resource violation in photoshop itself.

    Next!!!.

Give it time, it needed a whole day of system usage and it came back.

Edit: do you have nvcontainer.exe running?
    NvContainerLocalSystem is a service.

Ok, Edit2, it seems to be linked to GFE so if you don't install GFE you maybe ok since that service won't be there/installed.

I've done several reboots yesterday and the issue pretty much always appear again after you've ran some game.

Well the difference is 0-10% or so, you won't notice it without benchmarking.
I was wondering if it's something which has changed in my system since Dec but alas I see worse performance even in a couple of games which I've benchmarked just last week, and while some of these results may be due to CPU related changes (new chipset driver, different BIOS, me changing performance profiles, etc) I also see ~10% performance loss in 4K+RT in DL2 for example which is hard to attribute to CPU.

You're not. I don't have GFE and still have this issue.

Seeing it too right now, it's caused by
    C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispig.inf_amd64_abf7e4e84f20581c\Display.NvContainer\plugins\Session\_NvGSTPlugin.dll

Guess I'll kill that for the time being.

The point is that with the same values in dxgi, different flip models are obtained in 528.48 vs 531.18
in 528.49 if vulcan opengl present method 1 & opengl gdi compatibility 0 = in fullscreen i have hardware legacy flip in opengl game & hardware independent flip in windowed
in 531.18 if vulcan opengl present method 1 & opengl gdi compatibility 0 = in fullscreen & windowed i have hardware independent flip
    Record a video for you?
What absolutely nonsense for you? what you write without checking is nonsense

Yep that's what I did, took ownership of it and deleted it. (Also nvtopps for good measure since that was dancing around with a little cpu usage for nothing. lol)

Yeah, can confirm checking background processes when system is idle, nvcontainer is running in the background using more than 6% of the CPU (highlighted in red).

Absolutely nonsense is crying about a setting you change doing something that improves behavior

Hardware independent flip is better than legacy.
