NVIDIA GeForce 526.86 WHQL Driver

Is not linked with windows 11 i think, i play the game on windows II Dev. 25236.1010, on the other pc my son play the same game on 22H2 also on a RTX3060
I really don't know what the problem is.

I always report to nVidia when i see such problems and post the link, under my real name.

 

If on 3dmark is fine i think driver related,then?

 

but if I didn't notice any issues, so it's best to enable MSI mode?

 

Ampere has MSI by default, Lovelace should too.

Turing could as well technically since it and later archictures are just plain unbootable on hardware that had issues with msi in the fist place.

 

Interesting, I've got that as well but in New World. Happens randomly and can be moderate to very rare in frequency. I do not have a video of this problem.

While I agree it should, the RTX 4090 has MSI Mode disabled by default for whatever reason. If you enable it manually, it runs fine, too.

 

Ofc it is, ur 2080s is great and overkill for that game

I was crashing way more with this than 516.94 on my 3080. Last night however I reinstalled the game and also installed new AMD chipset drivers and I didn’t crash for like 2 hours after that. I don’t know why new graphics drivers would have made things worse if one of those 2 things fixed it.

 

BF2042 is very unstable with these (4090), pretty ok if I don't load OBS but even if i load OBS before the game it has crashed before I even load into a match.

 

I'm sure someone has already reported it to them, but I can't confirm it.

 

I guess it has a slight factory overclock but nothing outrageous. I have a Zotac RTX 4090 Amp Extreme Airo and I haven't seen it go above 65c since I bought it. I doubt it's the card though, because it only happens in that game and since several others in this very thread have noticed it, it's likely a driver issue.

Supposedly the problem can be fixed by installing an earlier driver, 522.xx or something.

 

I haven't run 3D Mark but I haven't noticed it in any other game other than Metro Exodus EE.

 

So stop worrying lol. Its game definitely issue. Card is fine. RLx
