Good driver nice boost in Death Stranding.

 

Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling utilizes ReBar. you are correct the Vbios enabled Rebar and you need that to enable HAGS.

at this point you are just arguing semantics...

edit: as pointed out I had a huge brain fart and conflated rebar and Hags and they are completely diffrent, appologies. mbk

 

I tested some Borderlands 3 last night and there has been a DX12 gain. It is now ~5% behind DX11 performance, whereas in my case it used to be ~12% behind.

I also *believe* Gears 5 has seen an uptick as well, but since I lack a screenshot of the settings I used to use I cannot directly compare. It seems I am able to put a few settings higher than I would have previously and still get the same or slightly higher FPS.

Looking forward to testing more stuff!

 

Um you don't need rebar to enable HAGS

 

Did anybody test these with D3D9on12? And compare results with native D3D9?

 

I noticed that last night, and was thinking I just needed to restart the game, bummer its a bug - hopefully fixed soon.

you are correct, I don't know what made me think rebar was a requisite for hags. total brain fart moment.

 

Driver seems a slight improvement in MSFS... but considering MSFS variability...
DCS I saw a 3-5% FPS... again, more time behind the stick.
Overall, satisfied.

 

I have a 3090, shouldn’t that have enough vram.

 

it is not a crash but a FEATURE of the game itself

Forza Horizon 5 is new to me, maybe the gains described in the Release Notes are in part due to this.

I manually activated ReBar in FH5 with Profile Inspector with the previous drivers, and I didn't notice any gain with this new driver in 4K.

 

I'm also seeing the Cyberpunk Map corruption bug now too. Even after deleting shader caches and stuff.

 

Same problem here but without DSR.

 

With BFV does it run better in Dx12? I remember trying it with my old card (GTX970) and it stuttered more, Dx11 seems better. I be curious on overall games that support Dx11 and Dx12 does 12 with many finally run better.

 

I can confirm you that all games with DX12 that I have tested so far are running great except RDR 2 which doesn't run at all on DX12. Battlefiled 5 is still a bit of stuttery but much better than before. Overall a great FPS boost and much more stable FPS. Battlefield 2042 is running as best as it can now as well :O

 

You on RTX gpu or GTX?
