Anyone went from 517.22vulkan to this, how is it?
GPUCaps is lying then?
The official release notes certainly aren't.
Wouldn't be the first time release notes had wrong information.
I think these minor subbranches aren't what I mean with the major branches.
PLEASE KEEP THIS THREAD TO ACTUAL FEEDBACK OF THE DRIVER!
Contrary to the stuttery mess that was 517.40 on my system, the 517.48 drivers perform well for me.
Some flickering in fortnite but no biggy for the rest no probs with gaming
VA monitor? Not seeing any flickering in Fortnite.
Only in the main screen had it before it will go away after a day or so only on fresh install
Yes, that's because shader compile stutter disappears. The flashing is likely caused by your monitor or OLED TV that can't deal well with extreme frame time fluctuations. You wouldn't be seeing flickering with most IPS screens.
does this driver have fix for windows 22H2 ?
I have a IPS monitor does not make a difference. We'll keep it on shader compile
Nah, it is still R515, but a much newer version which made it to 517, it's not the next major branch release.
That said, I might test them later just to see how they behave in Destiny2.
I see this issue: [RTX 30 series] PC monitor may not wake from display sleep when GPU is also connected to an HDMI 2.1 TV, and the TV is powered off. has just been removed. I surely do hope it hasn't been brushed under the carpet now that the 40-series is here... Especially since the bug existed since the HDMI 2.1 GPUs/30-series released...
yeah that bug better be squished or fixed, cause everytime i wake system from sleep with my tv connected causes my desktop to randomly flicked when never i hover over something or browse websites ect real annoying
• [Windows 11] Some UWP apps may display lag when G-SYNC is set to "Enable G-SYNC for windowed and full screen mode" and "Vertical sync" is changed from the default value
This is not the case, Xbox App still gets laggy under this configuration.
I'm staying with the dev insider drivers, I'm currently playing steelrising and the main branches have missing or flickering fog in that game.
"hey, if I'm not part of those 8k+ people then the game is dead "

It's R515 release, the last number can be anything between 5 and 9.
Next big release is R520. (I have no idea if it will actually be that as Nvidia tend to jump over several releases sometimes.)
Yes, its recommended to use this driver.
