Did some benches, novabench and time spy, and again performance is down compared to 511.23, but i will re-test it and play some heavy games and report back, but its clear that i will lose like 2-3 fpss in game, as i have a middle card 2-3 fps are more significant for me than high end gpus

So far solid release

Note:
This driver resets shader cache, so we need to rebuild it.
Has new VLK library ver. 1.3.198.1
Very smooth & fast so far.

Note 2:
GE filters now working a little better, it's more optimised IMhO.
Less impact on GPU (only 10-15Mhz), Sharpen+ is now Viable
(one of the better sharpening to date, compared to ReShade, but ReShade has no impact on performance or MHz at all ).

For Forza H5 we still need to Delete effect before ending the game
and set again when playing, then on the bright side - it remebers settings so no biggy.

Since I have one of the know issues and it was fixed I need to update to this version.

Does the driver come with a new DLSS version for Dying Light 2? Or will that be with the game when it's released in a few days.

 

Biggest innovation in NVIDIA GeForce 511.65 that it comes with new Vulkan version 1.3. My 1660Ti (Laptop) in Doom 3 with last patch gives +4 FPS compere to GeForce 511.23.

 

madVR/mpv fullscreen MPO stutter bug still not fixed.

 

Seems to have fixed the stuttering issues I was having with 511.23
In fact, these seem to be smoother than all previous drivers.

 

but 511.65 are still vulkan 1.2

 

No it 1.3. I check it with AIDA64 and GPU-Z. Look at screeshot

 

That's a detailed and nice looking changelog!

 

If anyone is using a RTX 3000 card with a LG C1 OLED, do not install this driver its buggy as hell. If you install it and turn off G-sync then attempt to turn G-sync back on again, it will not enable. I've tried restarting, powering off the PC completely then attempting to re-enable G-sync. The tick boxes in the Nvidia Control Panel just jump back to being empty after you check them and click apply. Using DDU and re-installing the previous driver fixed the problem.

Really like Nvidia's Changelogs, would be nice to see Others hop on that Train, Amd's Chipset Driver, close to no info in them, same for Realtek Drivers.
