Just to report I too had the audio dropouts but i dont often use the hdmi audio from the tv so dont really notice.
8K60/4k120hz TV again so im assuming @ManuelG its a DSC/HDMI 2.1 issue if it helps to reproduce

    Nopes, that's not it.

My default settings for ages, 7-9-13, never had any issues with them.

I have never heard of graphics acceleration in MS Office in my life, and I do not think that if it even existed I would ever have a need to turn it off or on because of a certified driver.

Actually yes, I have minimize and maximizing animations turned off, as well as any "fade" functions, all the rest are on. Interesting. I'll test the other way and report back, thank you!

2080Ti here.Every single one driver after 457.51 is a complete garbage from my point of view.
I must disable MPO to work with UE4.
Houdini17 do not display geometry. Must revert to 457.51.
Weird glitches in Maya windows. Probably cause messed up MPO.
Sadly, AMD is worse so no escape from this absurd.

tell it to the developers of any of the affected software that their crap is written poorly and not compatible with MPO.

its not up to nvidia to make other companies software support Windows features, exercise your ability to submit bug reports to those developers and stop whining about it here.

PS: Houdini 17 is out of date and the geometric issues are likely your own fault.

No it is not outdated, and lack of any visible geometry on fresh installed Houdini on the latest drivers is Nv fault.
Do you think that companies updating good working software to the newer versions, because they are released?
Hell no! If it is not broken, do not touch.
I was working on Maya 2015 for 4 years, cause newer versions has hilarious amount of changes, bugs and glitches.

OpenCL software require updates all the time because drivers change.

Don't argue with NVidia's spokesperson. He's always right.

You mean self-anointed Nvidia spokesperson. Pretty sure that statement is complete BS and Nvidia would never communicate nonsense like that.

So, tried with it enabled/disabled - seemed not to affect the issue either way - no appreciable difference. Thank you for thinking outside of the box although

I've been trying these new drivers for a couple of days and for the moment I haven't encountered any problems. I played Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village.

Still getting flicker with these drivers (After running DDU) if I'm viewing web page desktop flickers darker like HDR darkness i don't use HDR in windows 10 but when i run it in games blacks are darker and that what it looks like HDR kicking in as a flicker.
    If that makes sense ?
