I downloaded from the website, as well as from the geforce experience, it fails everytime
Installed. Let's see, GFE tells me to turn all the Ray Tracing on in CP, and DLSS to balanced (optimisations are online already if you preloaded, but it can't read the settings currently put in ofc). That's a 2080TI here at 1440p.
Why would you link me to a poster who is literally wrong about everything and earlier in the week tried to imply that support might be added in the next GRD on Thursday (he got the date wrong, too.)
Of course it will be sometime next year, given that Nvidia will likely not release another driver this month. I wanted someone with actual info to give a timeframe, though.
Great driver !!!! no problem so far
More people got screen flicker with this driver this is worriesome.

Well not only in Chrome... On desktop and loading screen in game too (2d clocks):
In game (3d clocks) seems fine (need more testing):
Disabling G-Sync didn't help. ASUS VG27AQ + 1080 Ti. Didn't have such issue on previous version of driver.
P.S. Reported this issue via feedback form
There is a Win 7 driver version as well on Nvidia site.
Give me the device id and i'll send you a bios update to try for the card, there were some VGA issues with the 600 and 700 series that required a vbios patch.
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
API version: 1.2.155, incremented from 1.2.142
try with RTSS and you'll see that many games have exponential CPU util increases as you go further under 17.
You know he can't answer that.
what windows 10 build? i don't see this with 19042
That's been fixed in 1904x but not backported to 1836x, its a windows bug and i haven't experienced it for a long long time, it also happened with 39x drivers for Fermi chips if you're on an affected windows version (like 19041.1 was)
you'd normally see intermittent flicker or display loss, so i'm really a loss for how you could be losing signal, but not losing signal XD
A corrupt DL wouldn't even get past the 7z parity check.
America isn't the entire world bucko, some parts of it already are in Thursday.
Is this a freesync display? turn it off in the OSD of the screen instead.
Exact same problem i noticed this in-games aswell.
Now i know 100% for sure its the driver thank u for this.
Well this new color thing is bugged.
I clicked on override out of curiosity, I didn't hit apply and now it stays at enhanced no matter what. Even by reboot.
It use to be accurate by default when I opened that tab for the first time.
Non validated Freesync panels are having problems with the last 2 drivers, even some validated ones are.
if you're affected you can continue using the new driver by entirely disabling the suppot for freesync in the OSD,
No, turning it off in the nvcp is not enough.
Ok fresh reinstall (clean install option) fixed it and now it says accurate again, won't touch that option now.
And you think that after all these years the problem suddenly came out?
The card has the latest bios, it works fine, the problem is ONLY on 460.79
But here you go: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1184&SUBSYS_28271462&REV_A1
FYI, I'm not a noob, I asked here because maybe someone has the same problem as me.
G-Sync Compatible / Adaptive-Sync. Didn't help
Enhanced just means accurate with a user edit of settings.
No issue here for me with flickering in games (BFV) or in FF.
Also, I use an old Dell monitor with a DVI connection, all is well.
Tried this now, no success.
Is there any log that I can check?
I can install any older version. It seems like an issue with this particular version.... Any ideas of what could it be?
One possibility is that you're a troll wasting our time.
