It's interesting because it seems to affect only the loading screens (which are supposed to be pure black, but aren't with these drivers) but not actual gameplay.

    At least on my end.

I started the game and the gfe overlay appeared without problems. The filters work as well, but the tool takes some fps away. For this reason I prefered using the sharpening slider from nvcp, which works. My final image looks way better.

Ok, then you had the issue i've occasionally experienced after a driver update, reinstalling the 9.19 package would have worked too (after deleting the installer2\physx.xxxxxxxxx folder)

Getting relatively bad performance, some sort of texture flickering and frequent crashes in GTA V with these (the latter especially when tabbing in/maximizing the game).
Tried resetting NVCP settings for the game but no dice.

Why we're not getting performance improvements anymore ? I mean, GRD most of the time offers nothing compared to the non-GRD.

you'll need to toggle settings until it goes away so nvidia knows what to look at.

None of the in-game graphics options have had any discernible impact on the flickering. Toggling G-Sync does not matter, either. The performance is subpar even on low settings.

@ManuelG a renderdoc output would be necessary here?

I'm not seeing any other reports of this specific issue, at least not with a 2080 Ti so chances are it might be isolated to my PC configuration.
The new GTA heist has dropped and I am going to revert to an older driver to be able to play it for now.

I noticed something while playing AC:Valhalla and using nVidia Sharpening with this driver and the latest 1.10 patch for the game. Colors and lightning are distorted. HDR is disabled (also in Windows)

If I turn off sharpening everything is back to normal.

Thanks for your reply Astyanax, will HDCP over DSC ever be implemented? or it's just not mainstream enough to warrant the development?

It's not really a big deal i suppose, just means i can only watch 1080p netflix on a 4k120hz LG. At least i can save some money by downgrading my netflix plan heh.

I can't answer that (I asked but they don't comment on unreleased / unannounced things)
