    but yeah,you're right.
by today's standards,if you're trying to convince yourself that a gtx 1080 is good for playing 60 fps Ultra then you're gonna get frustrated.
it's an upper mid-range chip from 2016,only a flagship cause amd lagged behind and we've had 2 gens since then.

"No. We will be releasing a Game Ready Driver in time for the Cyberpunk 2077 release" - ManuelG.

    Should be r460 finally,

465 should not be seen till 21h1 gets into preview ring.

Isn't 21H1 landing a whole bunch of features?
20H2 being the small one comparably so if this is some tick->tack thing then 21H2's a smaller update in turn.

New WDDM (2.8 I believe.) D3D12_2 and all that stuff no? (Available since a while back with the dev preview Windows 10 builds and dev Windows SDK builds.)

    With what GPU?

Many people have the same crash and the only fix is to disable HAGS.

A guy with a 1080Ti had the same crashes, upgraded to 3080 and still had them.

Well if we're going to talk logic obviously I posted that before seeing the statement on twitter on streaming the game before release and the countdown.

    skippin straight past 2.8 XD

I asked not long ago if nvidia was after feedback for 465 and the response i got was it wouldn't be ready for months, 460 seems like the most likely wddm 2.7 driver since WSL isn't needed yet.

Since nvidia already had a couple of drivers in the 460 line (for insiders) it'll likely be released as a 461, like 441 was.

    @Astyanax

Hi, quick question if you're in the know - I've recently flashed my z490 board with the latest 1002 beta BIOS from ASUS with resize BAR support, do I now have to wait for a new display driver from nvidia to make use of it with my 3080 or is it enabled the moment I set the option to Auto in BIOS? or maybe a BIOS flash for the graphics card too?

    Thanks.

You would need an AMD RX 6x00 series card to take advantage of SAM in its current iteration.

Hopefully it is coming sooner rather than later to Nvidia’s GPU’s.

12_1 for me too, but as Astyanax said it seems normal.

3080 strix here. had some strange texture/model artefacts in csgo where the textures would extend/radiate and fill the whole screen and after exiting the game I had green artefacts/dots on my screen with chrome youtube open, but this was with older driver 456.71 and only happened once during 2 months and a restart fixed it. updated to 457.51 yesterday and ran a few tests (furmark rog edition, control, death stranding, quake 2 rtx) all fine. but noticed a small black square appearing for a brief second when ccleaner is open. this is strange, driver issue?
