hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling will be in 450/451 driver brunch, in June or July.

They are counting on most people not knowing or caring, which is probably true.

Who ever claimed WDDM 2.7 was mandatory?

Will it not work on Windows 10 20.04?

Of course older or non-supporting drivers will continue to work on 2004, you just won’t be able to access and/or use new WDDM features and a lot of people are looking forward to seeing DX12U and GPU Scheduling in action.

I think Nev was being sarcastic when asking if the drivers would work.

Off to test these and also find out what variable rate super sampling is as that sounds interesting.

It's "branch", not brunch. Also, provide a source or is this just another boring speculation about June/July?

It's mandatory for the DX12U features, which Microsoft and Nvidia just boasted about not that long ago.

Clocks stuck at max on my GTX 1080. Can't remember the last driver where they weren't. Tell a lie, 450.99 idles as normal.
