C'mon... fix it already!
thanks for posting, all installed and running ok i think in the games im playing atm.
Hey guys!! Before I install the new drivers could someone verify that?
From Geforce Forum:
"Only one possible bug I see so far...
In Nvidia Control Panel > System Information > Display > Memory Data Rate: 1874814720 Gbps ??
Might be simply a statistics error as GPU-z shows nothing abnormal, one that Nvidia might wish to explain all the same....
I'm running an Asus STRIX GTX970, Windows 10 October 2018 Update on an Asus STRIX H270F Motherboard."
" I just updated drivers to recent version 417.01 and despite that Output dynamic range is set to 'Limited' in control panel it displays in 'Full' range anyway
hope it will be fixed soon"
I have neither of these 2 bugs on my GTX980OC.
As for games performance i will report back soon.
Just had a CTD and blue screen in Windows 10 (up to date) while playing Rise of the Tomb Raider with these drivers.
Installed them through GF Experience. Hmm...
Videocard is 1070Ti Asus Strix (not the one in sign)
No such display bug here, installed these via GFE on top of the previous drivers with Clean Install ticked.
Never had a download from Nvidia go this slowly before .... only getting 4kb/s :\
416.94 was ok?
I have this wrong memory data reading rate too, how can they mess this thing up..
Isn't it bad enough already with all those bugs and certain games stability issues, or even system stability? Guess not.
EDIT: its gets even funnier, I did a clean DDU install in safe mode and now it shows it negative, wdf?!
nvidia coding at its finest..
First time i encounter this problem, i can not install this driver. First of all i thought it was the Windows versions, since it said that it is not compatible with the current OS. I upgraded to 1809, no luck, tried DDU multiple times from SafeMode, i will try an older driver version and skip this.
EDIT: i got it to work, by running DDU again, installed an older version, reboot, then update thru GeForce Experience, it now works.
@-Tj- as i mentioned in my earlier post i don't have this issue.
I have the latest original Vbios with updated UEFI.
In any case is very strange, in the Geforce forum there are many people who have the issue about memory data rate
The memory data rate was in MHz in the last version, now it's in Gbps.
See the @-Tj- pictures
Yes, I would not sweat it as long as games run well.
Wrong memory data rate here as well. No issues with gaming though.
a real serious bug, we should sell our cards and go red.
Still on 416.94 WHQL with my 1080GTX here, worth going onto these drivers?
Just fullscreen the image?
its very easy to read.
Performance wise they're a bit better then most older 416.xx, tested various games and physx benchmarks.
The only lower score is @ Hitman Absolution, very cpu bound benchmark. Seen it by Resident evil5,6 too when they optimized for newer 7, older suffered and it stayed like that ever since; just benchmarked both again and I can't get the score I use to have back in hmm 37x.xx drivers.
