How do you measure desktop refresh?
damn nvidia i just instaled the 411.70 you bastards.....
Fantastic drivers. Smoother than the previous 411.xx drivers in AC Origins, and Edge seems to be a bit quicker as well on Windows 10 1809. If you're wondering how drivers could affect the performance of Microsoft Edge, remember that Edge has a very strong hardware acceleration implementation which utilizes the GPU for drawing web pages
It also has a back ground process running to speed up loading in 1809.
Yup, all the time. Part of why it's generally not worth discussing with people, you just get the same repeat, false, notions.
Damnit, damnit, damnit! I just finished a brand new, clean LTSC 2019 (1809) install, made a backup image and thought, "Ah, all up to date and current...so pristine!" Fire up Firefox and...this.
All good though, I think I felt a bit of st-stutter in Warframe with the 411.70 set. Maybe these will be smoother. Will edit later with results from this driver.
EDIT: Nothing scientific, but they seem fine in Warframe, not playing anything else to test right now. I didn't find them any smoother or worse than 411.70.

So in summary the drivers that were released in time for all the benchmarking when all the reviewers done their benchmarks to compare the 1080 Ti to the 2080 decreased the performance of the 1080 Ti slightly, but immediately after that with the release of the 411.70 drivers to the public they "fixed the bug" without mentioning it and most people ended up not noticing it.
That is honestly some dodgy BS.
Could simply have been a bug, or some unoptimized code snuck in. I wouldn't fret over it. The gimping usually starts about 3-4 months after release anyways.
mah 1080 is gimmed!! \o/
why you people keep buying nvidia if your graphic card is going to be nerfed in just 2 years or less, smh, some people just crave for attention. I bought a new one not because my older 1080 was gimped but because im interested in the new tech.
Tomb Raider also has a well made DX12 implementation, unlike the likes of WoW, and Battlefield.
I can confirm that DSR is not working on REAL FULLSCREEN, only on the desktop for games, I saw people comment on GTA V, Witcher 3, and myself on Overwatch.
I can't install these at all. The installer hard fails right after i click the first next.. One thing i notice, the installer doesn't recognize that i have drivers installed already?? I have 411.70's in now, but something has been funky last few driver installs (LONG Black screens when installing, and i mean Long, like 10 mins Long).. Dual 1080ti's. Other then that they work just fine.
(If inline image dont work)
Can anyone with a 9xx series and two different displays (different resolutions, refresh rates) toggle between one display, and then back to your main display? Does your right click menu show on desktop after display switch and back? (Win key+P)
Good drivers , more or less same as 411.70. I tested on FH3 , FH4 , FM7 and NFS performance it's within the margin of error , so same performance and nothing Nerfff............ lol
