Didn't this happen from .74 onwards?
I honestly think its the game, there are certain planets and regions that always glitch in appearance.
Noticed something else with this driver. Ever since the last microsoft store update and this latest nvidia driver, when I open the microsoft store it triggers nvidia share, press alt-z.
Hmmm, never had this happen before at all.
I wonder of this is glitching my NVCP and cutting it out during windows loading.
my call of duty infinite warfare still stuttering same as all the previous driver 384.76 384.80
and this is also 384.94 but it was running fine on 382.53 is this problem only for me on
driver stuttering on 384.76 384.80 384.94 plz help i have asus gtx 1060 6gb rog strix
the game is mess from technially stand point and performance wise it why i said i think it just the game
I noticed this too always had it set to single but did it really do anything? Function is still listed in Nvidia Inspector and can be set there, my is still set to single mostly cause I export all my profiles before install new drivers and then import them back in and then do my mandatory reboot before doing anything.
But the does the setting really do anything?
according to tweakguides ...
Even my 980ti is affected
There is a serious bug in this driver (maybe in previous iterations too).
If you activate 3D stereoscopy, when the wizard to setup your 3D screen is running, it will crash if you have the 'record desktop' setting activated in shadow play.
I lost 2h today till i figured it out. :bang:
Just had a driver crash playing Phase Shift again, so unfortunately not resolved. No FF blackscreens yet though.
well modern warfare remastered isnt a stuttery mess anymore with these , previous to these if i wanted to play it i had to install drivers from March . Shame no one plays it at least i can run through the single player again
I found out that in the game parameter instead of power optimized there is prefer maximum performance. Set it back to power optimized and problem solved. All open GL game are set to prefer maximum performance by default.
Just use 382.53. My buddies and i play COD IW and BO3 and found 382.53 to be good for both
Very good performance drivers plus IQ seems to improve , +20fps on Forza Horizon 3 and +10 in Rise of the tomb raider , got to test more games but due to lack of time it's kind of difficult at this moment for me :/. The only negative for me is the HDR support is a mess , it does not work properly with this driver , tested Mass effect andromeda and shadow warrior 2 and colors are messed up and washed out , but if i go back to driver 378.92 it works flawlessly.
How can you tell image quality has improved?
Did you enable HDR in Windows settings before turning it on in games?
I got respond from MSI support and they told that is driver only issue "They introduced support for system logic, and apparently there is a conflict somewhere. The problem is common for all and constantly. As a temporary solution - it is recommended to stay at 382.xx"
Colors pop more and less jaggies on games
Sure i did :/ but nothing seems to work after driver 378.92. I'm using a Samsung KS8000 65" SUHD HDR Smart TV connected via HDMI.
You think this driver is making your games render at a higher resolution than previous ones? Or that AA has somehow been improved? Which games? I'll take a quarter of whatever this guy is smoking please.
4 years of this...it's really a paradox :infinity:
This should be posted in Windows Feedback HUB to see if Microsoft can inspect the problem :O
I suggest you to open the issue and link on this forum to gain support "+"
