finally the NVCP is faster ! could be faster , but still faster than before

For me Physx still works even if the settings is off.

 

oh thanks ^^; I did use google but I but I couldn't find anything on weighted prediction. interesting stuff there about opencl 2.0 and video encoding/decoding though! i'm excited to try this driver!

 

found a notebook driver for myself from the NVidia driver downloads. it's actually newer than this version :O

376.84-quadro-grid-desktop-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql

...now why would my quadro m500m dedicated laptop gpu have a desktop version o.0 *scratches head*

 

378.66 is newer than 376.84 omg please read carefully the digit.

I suggest you stop using DDU.

It screwed up my Windows after a while and every first NVIDIA install ended up failing. I had to reinstall Windows to fix it.

Ever since i stopped using DDU i havn't had that issue anymore.

DDU is simply a last resort program for major issues or when you switch brands.

I stop using that also. It made matters worse, and i almost had to reinstall. I just went back to the basics, uninstall the driver, restart, use cc cleaner registry cleaner, removed the old nvidia corporation folder, install nvidia drivers with clean install checked and that's it.

 

No idea what FUD means.

Resident evil5 variable test with jobthread=8, lost 30-40fps on avg.

In my particular test method its now 360-370fps, instead of 395-405fps like usually 376 or 375 or older 37x.xx or 36x.xx


I know its over 300fps but still, somewhere a long the way crippling happened and cpu isn't as efficient as it was before.

 

Never once had any issues with DDU. I see people complaining about it a lot but usually its the same people that claim drivers improved their system colors or cut their performance in half...

are the 378.XX Drivers a bad joke by nvidia? Everytime i install of these i dont have a control panel to access and/or the false resolution on startup. In short, i cant configure neitgher use these drivers correctly..
376 Drivers are okay, only 378er give me these kinds of problems.
I use DDU and usually i can install an display driver... am i wrong or is it nvidia?

Hello all. Exactly the same issue with all drivers from latest 378 branch on a new
Gigabyte 1060 GTX OC 3gb

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) in device manager after driver install and restart, sometimes low resolution only. Sometimes the driver succesfully loads on boot , but most of the time not. When it loads well , all is good until next restart when it throws error code 43.
I tried all possible solutions , DDU , fresh Windows 10 x64 install+1607ver updates, disable AHCi , Reset bios cmos , reseating gpu in pcie , installing only the driver without physx or audio or Geforce Exp, all failed.
The only solution for now seems to remain with 376.60/376.33 or any other older driver.
My older card ( 660 gtx ) works OK with 378 branch , but not the 1060gtx

My specs: ABIT IP 35 PRO (this mobo doesn't have UEFI bios) , CPU Quad core q9300 , good new power supply Corsair 500w , Gigabyte 1060 GTX OC 3gb , Windows 10 x64 ver 1607 (OS Build 14393.693) .

 

The Gsync red led bug is gon with my Asus Rog Swift after i set Gsync on and off
