I am currently at work so I am unable to check this but could someone confirm that this driver fixes the visual lighting glitch on tables and cupboards when Reflection is set to On please? The workaround is to set Reflection to Variable on v376.60 and earlier but that obviously means the game isn't rendering reflections all the time as with the On setting.

This is an NVIDIA endorsed game so I was surprised to see this glitch from the demo, released late last year, is still in the final game. At least the HBAO+ performance issue from the demo is fixed with the final game, at least it seems to be with the v376.60 Hotfix driver I was using this morning when I played the game.

I just had a virus warning from installing this driver (not from these links, I went to nvidia site myself)... strange. I'll check it again later I guess.

Just saw this in the Release Notes under fixed issues:

[GeForce GTX1080]: Random TDR/black screens occur when running GPU-intensive Direct X applications after updating to Windows 10 Anniversary Update. [1811614]

I wasn't aware of this issue although my own EVGA GTX 1080 FTW had to be replaced due to a black screen/100% fan issue late last year due to a defective component. Since receiving the replacement card I have not experienced any black screens or TDRs, that I know of, so it is odd to see it listed here as being fixed. :3eyes:

Is it just me or is there a new option under 3D Settings called:
    "Optimize for Compute Performance"?

I'm not seeing that setting on a 1060 laptop, will check and see if I see it on my desktop. Sounds like a really good option, if it actually does what it says it does and well at that.

Maybe FAHBench would give some insight.

In case anyone's wondering about HBAO+ in The Division DX12, today's PTS launch confirms that it wasn't a driver issue - it works just fine on the test server, yet still broken on live servers.

So it was specific to steam Version then? Like I suspected,.. Well yeah I kinda knew it wasn't driver, but hey lately you never know by nvidia..

    I have it,

    It says this under info

I remember some talk about R378, and that R378 brings multicore for OpenGL (can boost apps, but not always) or something like that, maybe this is a part of that too?

And how do I know if a game uses sparse textures?

EDIT: ah its tiled resources / textures
    https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/SparseTextures.html

Guess it will be a trial and error thing..
