Ok, so it does not work with SLI then?
running SLi on 980ti's; I do not see FAST
try disable SLi
[FAST working only with single card here]
nope. fast sync is available for single card user.
I actually think Nvidia should continue to support the older hardware...just to make owners see it's time to upgrade.
However, there is a whole other community of people "happy" to get 20-25fps on youtube (yes, there is!). Really, I don't advocate such "low-level" gaming, but, who are we to take away their fun?
Haven't commented about drivers before but I'm experiencing something new with this one worth a comment. With this driver, I get constant flickering of the entire screen with green lines flashing in and out whenever the image on the screen is "refreshed". 100% reproducible. Open any new application, or move up or down the page, or grab the window and move it around the desktop and the flickering happens.
Reverting back to the previous driver makes the problem go away. So right now, this driver is a non-option. NVIDIA forum has a few people reporting the exact same issue, thought it doesn't appear to be widespread.
It also wouldn't make any sense to abandon the 600 series while still supporting the 700 series since they're both Kepler.
Vista is also very similar to Windows 7. WDDM 1.1 was made to keep backwards compatibility with WDDM 1.0.
It just gives me the impression that people who are proponents of abandoning older OSes and hardware just because of their age just don't have a clue what they're talking about.
FastSync doesn't work with SLI.
I am still able to override and enable fast sync on sli, using nvidia inspector, albeit on a previous driver - havent tested this one out yet.
Nvidia Inspector, with last driver, not work: has stopped working.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
yes, sadly all these graphic card utilities we got used to over the years receive less and less support. RTSS doesn't support DX12 or Vulkan (although DX12 support is coming at some point, no word about Vulkan) and now Inspector stopped working. Reshade also doesn't support DX12 or Vulkan and creator is "anti win10", whatever that even means. Sad times for us enthusiasts
Update to the latest version.
This has been covered many times.
Thanks so much!
Nvidia Inspector sensor monitoring crash, no Nvidia Profiler.
Just wanted to chime in here.
Installed this driver yesterday morning, played The Talos Principle and The Witcher 3.
I can't say about bench marks, haven't benched marked is a very long time. Maybe an in game bench mark now and then.
These drivers feel very smooth, no hitches/stutters, and felt fast in The Witcher 3. The Talos Principle also had no issues.
Best I've tested in a wile.
Single monitor, win 10 anniversary.
Horrible performance in DCS world, cut my frames in half!!!:3eyes:
Try to deactivate in Xbox app, GameDVR.
Even better, uninstall it with CCleaner.
