Its up for download v365.19
365.19 - Doom is crashing to the desktop like crazy with these with oc or stock settings (tested)
365.10 - no crash at all
What the hell..
The new v365.19 driver is working great for me in DOOM... no crashes at all in the 5-6 hours or so I've been playing it.
A driver which improves GPU load (by being tuned for a game) is more likely to make that GPU unstable on overclock than a driver which isn't hitting 100% GPU load because it isn't optimal for a game. Nothing mystical in this.
Just coming up here to make a report : the 365.10 NV's driver is crashing after something like 2 to 10 minutes of actual gameplay in R6 Siege. Driver had a clean install with DDU.
Reinstalled 364.72 and everything seems to be good. Played several hours without a single crash.
EDIT: have to edit my rig because there has been a lot of changes since the Last time i posted ! FX 8350 (4,6GHz) --> i5 4690k (4,6GHz) and Crossfire 7870XT (1150/1500)--> GTX 980 (1506/1928) !
Are you testing on stock clocks?
My overclock is applied directly via BIOS mod. Already tried the stock clocks and didn't work.
If there's one thing I love on Guru3D it's people still discussing in older drivers' threads even though newer sets are out. Irks me to no end.
Spotted the emo kid.
Can you please fix the problem with applications switching to interlaced video modes?. I know you don´t see a lot of reports on this but that is because everyone driving pvm´s and arcade monitors went amd a long time ago.
