I'm finding 364.xx branch to be pretty stable, if anything I recommend using 364.96 over anything else.

Lot of users are don't report the same. If you don't experience any problem, than keep it. It is up to you but better to be on the safe side than risk anything in the rig.

So we've moved from drivers destroying videocards to drivers destroying everything in the rig. Did you see what WhiteLightning posted above?

R364 is completely stable and I have no issues with it.

I don't know wtf to say.Ppl complaining about Kepler degrading left and right while I just can't see it.These have been stable since install and running great.Only driver that to me was real garbage were the 341 branches.Just my opinion, but some ppl need to go take a refresh on PC building and configuring if they constantly find themselves with issues.Just my fkn opinion.

Here, a link to the very guide I learned from a Maximum PC issue back in 2005

Only issue I have is that my 3d settings for v-sync keeps getting turned back on after a restart or shutdown besides that everything is running fine.

SWTOR stuttering frames, hitching. Dual monitor, 144Mhz. Back to .72 works fine.

This set disabled DSR again for SLI with vsync, thumbs down Nvidia, I was so happy you had that finally working.

Swtor always has stutters in frames cause of the game engines issue, no driver will ever fix this

I actual have better min framerate then I did with 364.72

It's not that Kepler is degrading left and right. I don't think Kepler was ever intentionally crippled but what we've seen is that it has aged rather poorly. My guess is that's what people are talking about.

Seems OpenCL doesn't work correct with 364.xx

No, there was 1 driver (around the launch of Witcher 3 if i recall) that butchered Kepler performance. Nvidia fixed it fast with the next version of drivers but it was already too late and since then the whole "nvidia is gimping older generation cards with drivers" has been going around.

Some technical channels and forum users tested the cards with a load of driver from different periods and found it completely nonsense but hey, you don't get it off the internet at this point.
Hell when an nvidia card already doesn't perform in an unoptimized port it is already the "nvidia is already gimping maxwell for pascal" nonsense.

Not all games no, but for the big game at the time, Witcher 3 it did.

Rolled back. A D3D buffer error in Elite Dangerous that had also been fixed previously was the last straw.
