Installation issues with GeForce driver version 364.47
    Answer ID 4054 | Published 03/07/2016 09:28 AM | Updated 03/07/2016 09:35 AM
Installation issues with GeForce driver version 364.47
We have received reports of some users having issues installing today's Game Ready Driver, version 364.47.

Initial investigation suggests the issue is isolated to multiple-monitor configurations. Should you experience issues, you can either disconnect one monitor during the driver installation (and reconnect once completed) or you can uninstall the driver through Windows Safe-Mode and revert to a previous version.

Our driver team is actively investigating the issue and we will have more information shortly.

That is about 7% increase normal and 11% in medium batch.

Big question on my mind are we seeing improvements over dx11 results.

SLI always worked with DSR, it's Gsync+SLI+DSR is were the problem lays. These drivers seem to fix the problem. I was able to change the desktop resolution to 4k, i'm about to test Gsync+dsr. I'll report back.

DSR has always worked for me and my 980Tis in SLI. I play BF4 and GTA V at 5K

DSR+SLI+GSYNC confirmed working. Praise the gods. Only took 2 and half years.

Not the best image, screenshots with afterburner remove the gsync indicator so I took it with my phone. I use a XB240H monitor.

How ironic, as I read through these comments about this horror story of a driver rollout, GeForce Experience pops up with 'A new Game Ready Driver is available'...no thanks mate I think I'll skip this one!

Lots of angry people on the GeForce forums and no word back from NV support, I'm surprised they haven't pulled it while they look at the problems as it's really bricking some PC's.

They have responded and are looking into it and it's not bricking PC. You honestly don't know how to boot to safe mode? The nvidia hate is getting tiresome.

    1. I'm no Nvidia hater, been a fan of them for years and only ever bought their products since my first Riva TNT.

    2. I know how to boot into Safe Mode/System Restore etc.. plenty of people don't.

    3. This driver obviously has issues for plenty of people with varying setups, I'm simply suggesting they pause the rollout while they look at it.

No issues here, uninstalled old drivers in safe mode with DDU, restarted & installed 364.47 and so far so good.

    Windows 10 x64, single display.

Yup, working great for me too!

Edit: oh christ I can't get my HDTV to work over hdmi now, artifacts and corruption followed by a tdr bsod... Win 10 x64

Editedit: Yup, HDTV as my "third" monitor through HDMI causes TDR, 2 is fine.

Edit the third: DDU, reinstalled drivers, all better now.
