@Shadowdane and @Khronikos
Please... just... please! Ok?
So given the fact that I've not had a single crash up until I installed these drivers, 4x in the space of a couple of hours versus ZERO before the drivers but it's some how still my fault for having a unstable PC?
The drivers are dodgy, a lot of people are having issues. A guy on nvidias website said he had the same issue and it was caused by the drivers/afterburner making the GPU boost to over 1000core 1000 mem and instantly making the driver crash.
I have no stability issue with this one so far using the same clocks as with previous sets on my 680s SLi. I didn't run any benchmark yet, but all the games I've tried were as smooth as they should be. No crash, no stuttering..
try to do Clean install, i don't have this bug here
Just got home from work and will give these a sturdy testing on my super clean, super cold PC, will tell if there's a real problem or not with this set.
Installed fine, running test now...... brb when i have some real life data to share.
You're a genius! I can't believe I didn't notice it. Thanks.
Done! It also includes an updated PhysX System Driver in the package (finally).
Was hoping that with Witcher 3 we will get new GPU instead of new drivers :whip:. Oh well, as soon as I get back home will check them out.
Project CARS is awesomely optimized even in previous drivers.
GTX 670 SLI, Full HD max settings (except grass is off), DSR 6X ingame AA
silky smooth 60fps.
Disable grass its useless and causes stuttering. Trust me you won't notice it on race when you are focused
Can anyone post screen with Witcher 3 profile from Nvidia Inspector please ?
Clean install here...Vegas too!!!
mf'in 2 hours of my life testing stability in these compared to the 350.05.
same same same titan x 980 and 970 all run at the same max clock in fm benches
the most I gained in any fm bench was 10 whole freaking points in fs ultra.
in games idk I got a console for that
Yup i found my cards can handle up to about ~1300Mhz before running into problems... but I'd rather have cooler running cards so 1228Mhz is just fine with me.
Not to mention when I ran some benchmarks the performance difference was maybe only 2% faster.. not worth having the fans running at full tilt pushing 85-90C.
I'm happy as long as I can maintain 60fps and have some type of real AA applied to my games.
new options in this driver
8-bit color deep my tv not support 10-bit yours monitor tv support more then 8-bit in this options, and this version driver?
I'm aware, but it still contains the playback bug. All windows 10 WDDM 2.0 driver versions do, and I reported the issue many versions ago. I've been sticking with the normal WDDM 1.x drivers because they don't contain the issue. I've been able to keep up to date... until now.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.
Yeah, according to nvidia we should use win10 specific 352.84 from now on:bang:
"This driver is only for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. We just released a Windows 10 WHQL driver 352.84 which is recommended as it is the most recent driver available:
Such a shame. It wouldn't be a problem if it weren't so buggy and broken, but game crashes and playback issues with madVR/MPC-HC that I've reported since the very first W10 driver version still not being fixed... :bang:
Why begin limiting driver installations now when previous versions installed and functioned fine? Are we not allowed to have a little stability in our system?
In your sig you have 1419 boost, is that the boost value shown in GPU-Z or actual clocks in game (which is what counts) ?
Black screen for a few seconds while browsing using Internet Explorer, never had this before. If I then open EVGA Precision, there is a spike on the graphs at the time of the black screen.
