No crashes in games or on both my browsers (IE11 & Chrome). Very smooth actually in games with good frame latency and fps. I have tested over 30 games with different engines as well, overclocked and stock.

Hope everyone else resolves their issues, or Nvidia release a hotfix.

I trust you here I have 2x 980 on SLI and that's also the first time they stop responding on Desktop without any overclock at all

Also there is 60 error entries in the eventviewer for 3 reboot and they are all the same

    Code:
    - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

There is definitely something weird with these drivers

Below is a list of the tools I have running when this happens

    - G-Sync monitor swift
    - SLI enabled
    - 144 Hz
    - Steam, Hwinfo, Msi Aftberburner and riva tuner, Keepass, thunderbird, google chrome, notepad++, windows 8.1 64-bit

Up to 3 gpu reboot just on Desktop as of writing

    Nah, Afterburner wasn't launched.
    Thanks for assistance though :)

I had to underclock to keep Far Cry 4 from crashing with v350.05. Temps never hit 70c. Then the GTA5 driver ran like absolute trash. What is Nvidia doing? Gpu drivers scare me.

Could removing a ton of older game profiles help in any way?

I haven't had any crashes with Chrome but TW3 has froze a few times, it only seems to happen with Afterburner running, it could be a coincidence though.

I downloaded the notebook x64 version of 352.84 but unfortunately the hardware ID for my GPU doesn't exist in any of the ini files but it does appear in the ListDevices.txt file.

I guess these drivers broke my gtx 970? Installed these yesterday, have had nothing but driver crashes and gray screens since. I rolled back as far as 347.88 and i'm now still having this issue, which I never had until i installed these drivers. What the **** am I supposed to do now nvidia?

I didn't have any issues with random crashes like with the 350.12 drivers, but there seems to be some occasional small stutter in Watch Dogs that doesn't happen with the 350.05, 347.52, and other sets.

I'll probably try the older drivers with the newer PhysX and the 352.86 with older PhysX and see what happens.

edit: Well, now they're all stuttering like that or I simply didn't notice it before, so there's probably not much difference between these and the older drivers. I might try using DDU and doing a completely clean install, but I doubt that'll make much difference. It's probably just Watch Dogs and its crappy optimization.

Just played 4 hours Witcher 3 straight. No problems at all.

    2x970 @ 3413x1920DSR @ highest settings @ 30fps locked with Afterburner + SweetFX.

Drivers were installed over existing 350.12.

Here is what BlueScreenView reads from the minidump about the 3 drivers in stack while the GPU black screens under load with BSOD (total system shutdown needed after this).

Looks more like user error BSOD, double check your system OC & voltage.. Yes some drivers may need that I've seen it few times now and in past e.g. my old X48 system.

0x116 = Low IOH (NB) voltage, GPU issue (most common when running multi-GPU/overclocking GPU)

What about my situation? My monitor just goes to a gray screen. I can hear the game still going on in the background and my pc doesn't crash. But i'm forced to restart anyway.

This is the worst driver I have ever used from nvidia, I could not even test games benches etc when I was crashing on the desktop every few minutes.

The more likely scenario is when your PC crashed , something got corrupted. Buggy drivers do not cause physical damage graphics hardware because they don't have control over the basic functionality of the chip. Those core functions are governed by the card's BIOS, so unless you've been flashing your card with sketchy firmware... your issue is pretty much guaranteed to be software/driver related.

Also, if the driver truly did "break" your card, then please explain why so many other people are having no issues with it? I haven't had a single issue with it with my card.

I would recommend first going to "devices and printers", right click on your computer and select "device installation settings" then pick the choice to completely turn off driver update via Windows Update.
Try completely uninstalling your graphics drivers and any other nVidia software through control panel, then reboot. Once back at your desktop run DDU (display driver uninstaller) to seek out all the old nVidia drivers that seem to never get deleted via their uninstaller. Afterward, reboot again. Then manually go through c:\program Files (x86) , c:\program files , and c:\programdata directories and delete any nVidia folder. Then in each of those directories look for additional nVidia files in the "Common Files" folder, and delete those too. Reboot again. Lastly, run Ccleaner and run both the regular cleaner followed by the registry cleaner. reboot again. Lastly just to make sure your motherboard drivers weren't screwed up, reinstall/repair those drivers and reboot before installing brand new freshly downloaded nVidia drivers. And don't forget the -overall command on the motherboard drivers.

9 times out of 10, doing a full and complete removal and reinstallation of the essential drivers will fix problems like this. The only time i've seen a graphics card damaged it was due to overclocking it well beyond the norm and other irresponsible behavior which either overheats the card's memory or voltage regulators, causing a voltage spike which can damage a card. This would usually occur during a driver update while overclocked or if it's on the edge of stability.

You guys sure all chipset drivers, bios files and os updates are up to date? I'm not experiencing any issues at all.

I'm using Win 7 x64, FireFox, YouTube vids, MHO bench, FFXIV HS bench, Valley, GTA V, Far Cry 3, Castlevania LOS all run normal.

Reverting back to an older driver fixes the issue 100%. 320.12.

Does Win 8.1 use aero? Maybe that's screwing with the dynamic clocks?
