Then double check your OC, BF4 is very sensitive to vram OC ;)

Unless you used a modified .inf file, you can't install the 344.16 drivers on the GPU you have listed.

I did use a modded.inf, everything was borked after installing it though. I did not have a problem with the beta, just the wqhl. Weird, I I will stay with 344.11, unless Cyris works his magic and mods it. Or maybe it was my oc, dunno.

I'm confused. Is there a certified (WHQL) version of this driver available now as Guru3D.com list a v344.16 WHQL driver on their front page and the file in the link is labelled WHQL and not Beta.

However, on the GeForce.com site, a v344.16 WHQL driver is also listed in the Driver section for my card but when I click on the link it is shown as '344.16 - BETA'.

    *EDIT*
It seems there is...on the NVIDIA site: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/78242/en-uk

This driver is around 14 MB larger than the beta one...305 MB vs. 291 MB (International version, by the way, not US English).

So by this it looks like the compatibility issue was with X79 chipsets , Anandtech ran into this and he used X79 " ASRock Fatal1ty X79 Professional"
Anyone ran into problems with 970/980 with 344.11 on Z67/77/87 ?

getting a MSI 970 in few days, was thinking of just installing the 344.11 with old card , then just switch in new 970 .

I just installed a GTX 970 but did remove all Nvidia drivers before putting in the new card, I think that's the safest way to go.

My GTX 980 worked fine with v344.11 WHQL drivers on my ASUS Z87-DELUXE motherboard, with BIOS v2103. I'm now using the newer v344.16 WHQL drivers which I installed this morning over the beta version.

Yes, maybe that be better , just remove/uninstall driver , shutdown, pull card and replace with 970 then at desktop install 344.16 .

I have a feeling not much changed with 344.16 , seems they rushed that out for X79 fix .

Can someone post a modded .Inf that works with 344.16 wqhl that Darren Hodgson linked us to. I think I was using the Inf from the beta. I don't know what the issue was, I even used DDU and rebooted the pc. This is the first time having driver issues with my pny gtx 750 2gb. Thanks in advance. I am also having texture issues and would like to try these.

That is the one I already. Thank you though, I just editted the nv_disp.inf that came with the newest 344.16 in the "device driver" folder.

    EDIT:
Weird!! This time everything was fine. I downloaded the driver from the link Darren Hodgson provided. I modded the .inf myself for my video card and installed the 2 CUDA files. Now it works...180+fps, not 7-45fps, like yesterday afternoon.
Modding the .inf was so easy too, I feel like an idiot...

That INF was the one I modded and it was a International INF.

This makes a difference and won't work with US driver or it can have issues..
