yes my mistake I meant R343..
so why all cuda video decoding apps not working on 340 beta driver?
May be because they use NVCUENC API specificially (and not the whole CUDA API). A did understand Manuel`s comment that way.
before was only cuda now its 2 apis
what xilisoft use do you know?
im on 340.52 now
Thanks. I replied in that thread. Can you answer the questions I posed in there?
A few fixes but most fixes are in the next BETA.
Yes. If an app simply uses CUDA (like Adobe) it should still work. If it uses NVCUENC API, then it will not work with R340.xx drivers. If it uses NVENC (which utilizes the hardware video encoder on Kepler and above GPUs), then nothing is changed with the newest driver.
Unfortunately I don't know but if it does not offer GPU hardware acceleration for encoding of videos, then it likley was NVCUENC.
yes!!! and same with xilisoft and other programs they all use CUDA
what is that NVCUENC codec since my gt9400 i use cuda when NVCUENC codec was avalible?
When does the next beta hit us?
after whql probl..
Hello, please do you know any video editing and/or converting sw using NVENC hw encoder?
Hey ManuelG, any news on improving Watch Dogs's SLI profile?
So is there gonna be another beta coming before the WHQL? Or are we just gonna have to wait till NVIDIA releases the friggin' SHIELD tablets?
I really don't like driver bugs that look like hardware issues. I was running Unigine Valley last night and noticed that some land textures started flashing white. I thought one of my four Titans was on its way out. Disabled SLI and still had the flashing, so I moved the bottom Titan to the top and still had the issue. Reverted to older drivers and the problem went away. It turns out it was a driver issue and not hardware. It looked a lot like a hardware problem.
Nvidia is working on new drivers for GM204, this is the reason for the delay of new drivers and those with SLI have good benefits in the next driver.
You sound like your father is working at Nvidia in Drivers Development department.
Incidentally, I just got one more EVO and installed a clean copy of Win 8.1 and I'd really like new WHQL drivers right now, though. Would be great.
