Understood. Thanks fellas!
Yeah, for example having Shader Cache on for Mount and Blade Warband kills my game performance and makes it stutter. Just set up profiles and you should be good.
Can you provide more information? What display resolution are you running at? Are you connected to a 3d monitor, projector or 3D HDTV? How is the display connected (HDMI, DVI, etc.)? Name a movie that shows this problem. What OS are you using?
I've filed a bug for Sniper Elite 2 issue. As for Sniper Elite 3, this is fixed in R340 drivers. The previous WHQL driver had this flicker problem
CUDA video encoding has been discontinued beginning with R340.43 driver. Applications which relied on CUDA video encoding will need to upgrade to NVENC or switch to software encoding.
Manuel was this problem with Lockheed Martins Prepar3D solved in the next Geforce release? I just saw one report from someone using the Quadro 340.52 drivers it still exists. ie: Are the Geforce WHQL going to be 340.52 also?
I hope they do so, been asking for NVENC support for a while from a few devs.
Why you didn't warn all nvidia support guys ?
I report them that cuda not working and they told me install all 1gb cuda development kit.
I hope program developers have a notice about that.
so this week we get a new driver ?!
hopefully it'll have SLi for WD and physx features
I have the same issue in 3D content with both 337.88 and 340.43 beta drivers.
Any movement or scene change causes weird flickering/choppiness. It also makes eyes sore, similar to when you have your left/right-eye-first setting set up incorrectly, but this problem is not affected by that setting. Only downgrade to a driver earlier than 337.88 solves the problem.
If you pause the movie where movement with that effect is present, it looks OK. Thus, it is only visible in motion.
The PC is hooked up to a Panasonic VT50 HDTV via HDMI (also with DVI-HDMI adapter since GTX 690 does not have HDMI). The effect is present in any movie I tried, e.g. "Rio 2". The display resolution: 1920x1080.
Used software: PowerDVD 13/14 and TotalMedia Theatre 18.104.22.168
Graphics card/GPU make and model: GTX 690
CPU make and model: Intel i7 3770k
Amount of system memory: 8GB
Motherboard make and model ASUS Maximus V Formula
Motherboard BIOS version: 1802
3D TV: Panasonic VT50
Sound card make and model: Creative ZxR
Operating System: Windows 8.1 x64
Oh come one gimme the driver, already...
They should release it as a beta while Microsoft get around to stamping it with WHQL.
It will be like 340.52 - same branch
We all want something new =)
I was referring with it being on the same branch?
I do not believe that the geforce version 340.52 will be released one week delayed after of quadro... half of the users here already installed and has spread inf modified to install on other forums... it would be stupid release the same version now... so maybe be one newer version
Where's the new WHQL ?
needs more some more time...
