I really, really hope this fixes the driver kernel crashes in Pla***side 2 and Landmark (both Forgelight Engine games) that have been present since 332.21
EDIT: Really? You block N E T?
Does this driver support Tiled Resources? Are there any games on pc that use them ?
With the amount of hype this driver has generated over the interwebz it had better deliver!
Can't wait for these God like drivers for my gtx280 I expect nothing less than 780ti performance :3
If i read it correctly then its only for DX11 video cards.
DirectX is backwards compatible, but it won't take any advantage of the DirectX 11.X features with an older DX version video card.
You're going to milk this thread for everything you can...
male human tits, milk ? ahh....whats next ? :david:
Threads all over the inter*** about these drivers and still no leaks. Looks like Nvidia has a tight lid over these ones.
What improvements are u talking about?
Only DX11 cards bennefits from this.
With all due respect you really need better vid card .
I only have 660ti and FC3 I think most setting are maxed and it runs smooth , fine above 70 .
But I use adaptive vsync so its constant 60 fps . I do use lower res 1600x1200 but that just max of monitor .
I think many are going to be disappointed once these are out .
If you think your going to avg more than 10% in most titles (not on there list) with single card , I be very surprised .
what a clusterfukc of a thread hope it gets closed
The key to victory with older cards is using lower resolutions. The older DX11 generation cards are still capable of delivering good framerates but lack the bandwidth of the newer cards. Settling for a lower resolution helps alot.
Tom Raider for instance ran very smooth on my 470GTX as long I sticked with 1600x900 instead of 1920x1080.
@Toncey S. with NVIDIA if you have anything below a x60 GTX, don't expect any decent gaming performance at all. Anything below that is good for multimedia purposses but that's about it.
Yeah, any resolution that is under the native, looks blurry and crappy.I'd stick with the native resolution and lower other settings(AA/Shadows etc).
It's not the fault of the thread, its down to children like Toncey S. choosing to argue with people.
Oh yeah, this is a great way to start a new week !!!
Australia is not a real place.
Can I call a vote that this thread gets closed? Cleaned up or at least merged with the existing pre-discussion about the "Wonder Driver."
There is no download link and there is nothing worth discussing until the drivers are out.
When it is officially out create a new one so we can discuss benches etc
thats wrong drivers have CPU overhead optimizations by DX like mantle.
Tiled Resources is: DirectX 11.2 can now use system memory in place of graphics memory. (only win 8.1)
