Are these improvements only for 700 series ??

I have a gtx 660 ti.

Will my card support these driver opitimisations ?

since it's about CPU overhead optimizations by DX, then all cards should have tiny % of perfomance.

The beta testers have them, whether one breaks the NDA and releases them is anyone's guess. I don't mind waiting since they are out tomorrow, but I'm bored and it's Sunday so it would be nice to have right now.

 

Manuel G stated this driver is due out tomorrow.

 

I am very much looking forward to this driver. I almost bought a R9 290 a little over a week ago. I've had horrible luck with ATI/AMD cards so I really didn't want to buy it. I knew that Nvidia was supposed to release a miracle driver sometime, so I decided to stay team green and get my 780 GHz Ed, which came in the mail last Wednesday.

So waiting 1 day is no big deal to me. Very glad its coming so soon after my new v-card arrived.

 

Miracle driver. It would probably be in everyone's best interest to ratchet down those expectations a few octaves. Either way there is sure to be many pages of tears.

 

AndyB (Nvidia rep) said earlier on in this thread that it will be released tomorrow.

 

So Monday it is, no big deal. I bet they will show up ~1-2pm EU time:nerd:

 

I wonder if this contains the fix for Natural Selection 2. I finally got in contact with Nvidia and had them reproduce the dx11 sli bug.

Can only hope it is in this driver!

 

Considering the claims Nvidia has made about this new driver, "miracle" is a good word for it considering this is supposedly something that was never an option till "Mantle". If you are taking the use literal then that is your right. I use the word in skepticism but I do hope for the claims to be more truth then BS.

 

I bet you have these drivers loaded already and even better ones compared to the stuff we get tomorrow?

Hope they are worth the hype for us SLI users, or im going back to AMD for some 290x crossfire action with the worlds only MANTLE drivers.

After reading some post i think alot of people will be dissapointed by this driver.

I dont think this so called wonder driver will do so much wonders.

I think we will see a slight increase in fps in some games. Im affraid it wont be as spectaculair as most people think it will be
