    Bro, in your original post you were trying to compare the R9 290x to the GTX 770 also.

    You are just trying to manipulate what I said to fit your needs now. Proof.

    You said you own an HD 7970 that's great, then you went on to compare the GTX 770 to an R9 290x which isn't even plausible. Totally different price points/power ranges.

    Not going to fool anybody here.

    They don't even include the GTX 780 or 780 Ti in those benches when they should.

    That is just a sad benchmark....

    You can't compare a mid-high end GTX 770 to a Flagship model card.

    Throw Nvidia's flagship GTX 780Ti/Titan Black and those benches would change fast. I mean really, I never liked Toms Hardware for reasons just like this.

    GK106 = Mid-end
    GK104 = Performance
    GK110 = High-end

    Also, don't post Tomshardware benchmarks, the guy is not reliable at all.I still remember his Crysis benchmark where the 4870x2 had more fps than GTX295.

    Yes exactly. I mean the fact that they left out Nvidia flagship models in his links is enough to stay away from that site.

    We need this thread to go back to the drivers also. :)

    Dude Nvidia drivers section. Not your personal trolling platform.

    BTW good cherry pick a broken game COD and a game 100% optimized for GCN BF4. GTFO!

    Here are some nice benchmarks for you.

    Now pleases don't ever post Tom's hardware here again.

    OT: Have been having good luck with these drivers still get an occasional hiccup in BF4 but most likely that's the game at this point.

    I hate going from a nice, dark background to bright white charts....

    bigosik, go troll else where. This is a driver thread, not an AMD vs NVidia thread.

    After the 14.1cats, I'd rather be gaming on a GT610 than any AMD card. The 14.1cats were complete trash. After a hard lock trying to wake up my display, I was greated by BSOD's covering multiple system files. I've NEVER had that happen with a graphics driver.

    I wouldn't agree that bigosik is trolling, perhaps misinformed and highly over confident in his/her misinformation. Happens...it is the internet. Loads of this sort of thing occur in any type of forum on any subject, right? Refuting and debating claims with proof and logic without foaming at the mouth is best, IMO. A-holes abound...who cares.

    Ye, get lost with the trolling.

    The posts of people with real issues are being spammed away damnit.

    So ... any issues with this driver in Catzilla ? because I'm having blackscreen with quadro 334.95. Perhaps there're some issues with R334 driver branches ?

    I decided to update my good old Forceware 320.49 drivers from back in july 2013 to something more contemporary. So tonight I downloaded and installed the 334.89 drivers.
    I first uninstalled 320.49 manually and installed 334.89 (Express installation) afterwards.

    However I'm a bit dissapointed with the performance of these drivers !.
    3Dmark11 & FireStrike scores dropped and so did my average FPS on Unigine Valley 1.0 and Heaven 4.0.

    FireStrike dropped from 17'500 to 17'000. 3Dm11 from 23'000 to 22'700. I can see it's the Graphics score that's low when I compare to earlier results.
    Valley 1.0 and Heaven 4.0 have both dropped 3 FPS in both 1080P and 1440P benching.

    I have checked with MSI Afterburner Beta 3.18 and my cards are not throttling - they run max speed all the way :(

    Anyone who has experienced the same performance drop when benchmarking ?

    I haven't had crashes in games so far (knocking on Wood=, but it annoys me a bit that I have to OC now to get the same results as before but at stock speeds :rolleyes:

    or yet to be released new beta driver ??
    It is a comparative test performance GPU on the net?

    I played with 332.59 and Thief ran fine, no stutters etc.. But i had to disable SSAA and lower DOF to normal.
    Rest max @ 1080p 60fps vsync, 60fps cap RTSS and 1 frame to render ahead.

    @ Gripen90

    try 331.87 modded quadro or 332.59 cuda driver, both much better and faster, esp. 331.87.

    Makes it hard for me to decide which driver to install for my 660 when I put it back in later this week.

    Found a bug related to this driver.

    Final Fantasy XIV : ARR
    When using Borderless Windowed mode and tabbing out of the game, then back in after say 5-10 seconds, the game starts to stutter and eventually locks up. Reproduced this three times and the last time all colours got inverted.

    Then I restarted the computer and tried again just to check, same problem. So I killed the app and restarted it but this time in Fullscreen Windowed. I could then play without any problems for ~30 mins.

    Note that my card was mildly OCed (+100/+100).

    Edit:
    Borderlands froze after 5 minutes of gameplay. What is going on here? Never had problems these kind of problems with drivers before.

    @ Gripen90 - Every driver past 320.49 gave me a drop in benchmark performance as well.I've given up on hoping they'll ever come back, smoothness n stablility in game is what I look for now.It's all I have left! :cry:

    I found the solution to those issues I was having with this driver (and every 334 series driver I've used) wherein I was not able to run full screen in games..

    Apparently, the drivers have some sort of software conflict with my Asmedia ASM1042 USB 3.0 drivers. Uninstalling those drivers and using the Microsoft drivers fixed the problem.

    IQ has gone up though in many titles.

    It's up to you if you are a hardcore bencher I'd not use the newer sets.

    These seem to be optimized heavily for games in general, not 3dmark.

    Just done a clean Windows Install.

    Hope it solves my issue with Black Screens after Windows Startup Logo every 1-3 weeks.
