Yeah, we see weird driver versions from different vendors that we don't see on your website. So this is definitely true.

I remember seeing builds from MSI/ASUS all the time that were never on the Nvidia website.

And many people will saying "why this driver is suck, this crash my computer!" even they know it is leak driver, not a release driver. ;)

Yeah, but official drivers you have who to complain, and these non-official ones you test at your own will, so you cannot complain to anyone but forum threads, that is.

I came here with my mouth dry, but after reading the comments, decided to wait a little for the new drivers.

A leaked driver is a leaked driver. In other words Nvidia does not support it and what may happen if something goes wrong.

You install leaked drivers at your own risk.

I guess you means WHQL, as Beta are also official release.

Yes and no. But we are talking about Unofficial leaked drivers here, not official Beta/WHQL drivers.

hi, are these update profiles compatible with any geforce driver? and would it be alright to just import the profiles through nvidia inspector on the 331.93 BETA driver?

sorry if it's a stupid question, just wanted to double check ^^

Any beta leaked or not is better than official

I really don't know why you keep on insisting on this, as its blatantly wrong. You have no liabilities with leaked drivers, or support if something goes wrong.

Do you not understand that beta's listed on Nvidia's website ARE official beta's?

You keep saying beta this beta that, but a leaked driver doesn't mean it is beta.

Leaked is leaked, and if the build number is something Nvidia is not circulating, it's always a use at your own risk factor.

    Placebo won yet another victim.

You mean like when the official WHQL drivers crash for no apparent reason and both monitors shut off? The fact that the nvidia forums were filled with dead card posts in the 400/500 section?

You're not really understanding the argument. The post you quoted was directed towards someone that thinks the betas are always better than the WHQL versions and their inability to understand the difference between "Alpha/Test" and "Beta/WHQL".

Does XP support 64 bit if you install something over it?

windows 8.1 is Great, atleast it has less mouse lag than w7 (nowhere near xp tho) and my mice software almost holds its settings through boots

    this is also so fun...

    ahh ok, thanks!

i'm seeing something odd (imo) though. so, i just used nvidia inspector to import the 331.95v2 SLI profile onto my current 331.93 BETA driver.

it seems the texture (i think that's what it's called) quality is globally set to "high performance" rather than the usual "quality" setting. i'm also seeing other settings such as v-sync & triple buffering forced off along with a lot of the optimizations turned on.

is this normal? or is it a sign that i didn't import the profile correctly?

P.S.: would using the "restore to defaults" setting in nvcpl re-install the original SLI profiles from 331.93 beta?
