I want to run most games @ max settings @ 2560x1440 @ minimal 60fps. One 690 didn't do it so I bought a second. I would NEVER buy this now, that's for sure. I am very disapointed in Nvidia's SLI support! :puke2:

Quad SLI has always been poor and going above 2 GPUs was never recommended. The situation will be the same with AMD as well.

Points 1-3 I have to agree with u.

Try raising your FOV to 90 or more, only works for mp though.

I totally agree with you mate.
Games that support GPU accelerate PhysX have always been buggy or badly implemented in the past.
Borderlands 2 for example was the first title that kind of impressed me by all the destructible particles filling up the entire area during heavy fights with lot's of explosions.
but fluids where really bad and didn't blend in well with the game.
With some of the new techniques that have been implemented in the PhysX engine have been great.I must say that Metro LL was the first title that used the tech without any major or weird drops in FPS (Anyone remember Alice Madness Returns?).And now comes Batman Origins i have nothing to say but good words.
Overall PhysX is great when it works and used well in games. They can enrich the atmosphere greatly.Latest end best implementation for me is in Batman Origins.
Nvidia must ditch the outdated 2.something engine and move to PhysX 3.0

Can never be said better. I would buy a titan or 690 if I had the cache and never think about sli or cf. I play on 27 inch 1080p and IMHO it's very enough for me.

I think you made a small mistake typo there The GTX 690 is a dual (sli) GPU.Unless you meant the GTX 680.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I could of course reinstall the drivers but I remember having the same issue during beta.

    I'll try raising FOV.

    ---

I mean come on, BF3 almost looked better in terms of sharpness and detail.
Sorry for the large pics but does Guru3D support thumbnails?

One more thing, removing AA Deferred but keeping AA Post does not remove Anti Aliasing. Removing AA Post but keeping AA Deferred = Aliasing. Why?

Ya, it look like too many fogs?

And you can put your Image into the
    spoiler
so it will not getting toooo big for my little famous laptop resolution screen...

Dont use postAA, this will blur everything, keep it off or max at low.

Use only DefferedAA and try that supersampling in lower left corner @ 120-130%.

    3. There's a slider in the video options to reduce the size of the HUD.

Yeah, post AA in BF3/4 is DICE's own version of FXAA, which is know to blur alot of stuff.

Deffered AA has a huge performance impact, but does a better job.

Supersampling does an even better job because it makes everything look alot sharper and imho, better.
Running it at 135% equals to QHD (2560x1600 in your case).

I'm trying to only use Def AA but nothing happens. The Aliasing is quite clear, hold on, I'll post a picture.

Edit - Ooooh, now I see the effect of 4xMSAA :) Well the blurryness dissapeared when I removed Post AA, how nice :D

Tried Supersampling but its probably too taxing for my rig (too little VRAM).

Def AA and Post AA = OFF

Def AA 4xMSAA and Post AA OFF

Def AA 4xMSAA, Post AA OFF and Supersampling 135%

Anyone getting black screen driver resets with this driver?

Using a 780, it's done it in BF4 and FIFA now.

    En...
I think it is another AA issues(as I can see the effect of AA are not too effect), just like the BF3, they get the black line by enabling the MSAA.

That may be. The most comments are now edited so I it can be that I have misread something.
So I guess or I hope that the fix will be integrate in the launch driver for the new 780TI on 7 November.

I know your Problem :). That's why I've decided to create a >survey< (startpost) to find out what problems often occur and which have nothing to do with the driver.

I have already uninstalled the driver completly (Windows Control Panel + DDU).
However, I now playing 3 hours without the same error and without new installation. We'll see if the error occurs again.

Havnt tried anything other than Batman AO, but all good so far and smooth 60+fps all on extreme, 2xmsaa, physx on high @1080p.
