These drivers have frozen my system twice in the same day... I have never had my computer freeze ever before.

My GTX670 is happy with the drivers, although I have to say there is no benefit to these for me over the last beta.

threaded optimization - off and frames to render ahead - app. controlled = smooth.

    320.14
threaded optimization - on and frames to render ahead - app. controlled = smooth.

    edit: 314.22
threaded optimization - on and frames to render ahead - 2 = smooth.

In both cases gpu OC 930mhz/ram 2140mhz.

Still getting crashes to desktop during games and driver not responding during normal usage on a GTX 460 SOC.

Guess they really want me to finally upgrade, eh?

Take note to whomever it is representing Nvidia here - that I'm getting rather tired of just wanting drivers and having to download/uncheck other things I do not want. I do NOT want to have drivers auto update for many many reasons so please can you just link drivers on Nvidia.com that are just that, and not packaged with so many other things that you may not want?

Um.. EVERY company in the world does this.
Infact AMD use to make you uncheck LOTR online and if you forgot it would push that on you.

    A question.

For Nvidia update (SLI profiles etc) to work, does one need to install "GeForce Experience" from v320.xx ??
(I sincerely hope not. GeForce Experience looks like bloatware to me).

I don't think so, SLI profiles are pushed thorugh Nvidia Update and not the Experience software.

Where is Nvidia Update? I don't see it in 320.18. That's why asked whther Nvidia Update was integrated with GeForce Experience.

Experience has replaced Update, so I would guess you'd need it for SLI profiles, yeah. Although to be honest, more seem to be included in driver releases than actually pushed down via updates.

nah it didnt replace anything ;)

Right-click on installer, extract it and check its content
    [IMG]

highlighted part is nvidia update, that marked in red can safely be deleted. That's if you already have Hd audio and dont use 3dvision.

I extract the driver every time and remove stuff I dont need and never had any trouble like that.. This is how my 320.18 folder looks like

"GeForce Experience" certainly replaced "NVIDIA Update" during my custom install. Sure I could mod the driver to get the features I want, but I would rather NVIDIA get it right so I don't have to ;)

i seem to have fixed my system lockups by setting my gpu oc voltage one step from 1.087v to 1.100v in firefox i set "prefer max performance" also no idea if it helps although the voltage increase certainly has

my GPU OC IS 975core 2212mem

before the 320.xx drivers my oc ran happily 24/7 with 1.087v

So now we're forced to install this bloatware just to receive SLI updates?
