Nvidia GeForce 314.14 Beta - Download & Discussion

No, works just like nvidia control panel. You dont have to have open bud. I just started usin it bout 6 months ago and had same question.

 

GTX 560m

I have a GTX 560m, which is listed as a compatible device (and GeForce experience keeps downloading the file), but when I go to install, it says it cannot find compatible hardware.

Any idea why this isn't working?

 

These are horrible in BF3 and since TR is the only game this is meant for and doesn't run well anyway, I switched back to the Titan driver.

Any idea if we'll get a driver because of End Game?

 

during installation, my screen blacked out (and no it wasnt normal screen flicker for installing drivers) it was a frozen black screen and fudged up my comp to were i had to hard reset.. had to go into safe mode to remove and clean the folders...... went back to the Last WQHL drivers!

 

Thats happened with me as well on other drivers, but it seems if you try to install a driver before windows has a chance to install its default VGA driver, that happens.

 

I was rubbing my crystal ballz and it tells me there should be a new driver this Monday or Tuesday

 

I hope you're right but it is Monday, 2:26pm here in the UK and there's no sign of any drivers... yet.

Absolutely crap drivers for BF3 and anything else I tried. Went with old reliable 313.96's. BF3 runs smooth as I could ask for, and with TR, I just did the Hitman profile thing and it ran fine. I'll stick with these till the next one's come out. Hopefully your ballz tell you right again Penal Stingray.

 

on my 2 gtx680's BF3 works fine. 60hz monitor oc to 75hz with adaptive vsync i got 13ms

 

Not going to happen until the end of the month, Lara is going to cry a lot on my machine because of that... heheheh

 

it wont cause damage to monitor to push it to higher 75hz?

 

Wen i go to high the monitor says out of range for safety.
I think it dont damage the monitor but i will see in in the future

BF3 sometimes continues to show green earth, as in the last WHQL

 

when minimizing crysis 3 gpu stays at 100% causing it to stay hot. with fan at 50% temps at 65-70c

it doesnt help my room is warm today

 

I get that on one map I've seen so far. EA just put out an update for the game I believe along with the pre-load for endgame. And I've noticed it since then. Again, still on 313.96's.

 

You have to uninstall Microsoft Update KB2670838 on your control panel. your not the only one having that issue it is a known issue on GeForce forum.

So guys if you having BSOD's, Weird Texture Corruption like Green Lines or green something on BF3 and other games uninstall that update Via control panel>>Programs>>View install Updates>>Right click the update and click uninstall.

I used to get the green stuff on BF3 and some other weird texture corruption so what I did was reformat windows then download all the updates then install nvdia driver.

 

Actually, the "green" stuff didn't show up until after endgame preloaded yesterday. I have forgotten to change my stats to Win8, not Win7. But like I said, I had no "greenies" until yesterday on the same driver. Perhaps this may help others though.

 

damn , my card do not downclock , gpu was 70 % usage , max frequence, max voltage for nothing, the card came very hot, i have uninstall the driver for the whql , but tomb raider do not wordk very well on 314.07 for me.
I don t know what happen with 314.14 for the clock, it was like boost was disable, i was playing on this driver a few day without any problem then th card clock was at max without plauing game
