U`right, but for me this driver is the best so far,no crash, just smooth gameplay.
For me this is a keeper!
After about 800 hrs on bf3 I really think that I know when a driver is good or not,for me of course.

Far Cry 3 I have some weird black bar in the bottom of the screen...

Battlefield 3 still crashes like a baby...

Anyway I am going back to 306.97, which kicks ass btw...

If these are WHQL certified then why does DXDiag.exe show that they aren't on my system? Oddly, the previous betas DID show as being certified! :3eyes:

FarCry 3 HBAO is nothing like Nvidia's HBAO. I immediately noticed, but also proved it by disabling ingame SSAO via xml and applying FarCry 2 AO compatibility flag via nvinspector, which looks much better.

don't bother though, as it flickers / only appears at certain camera angles.

this leaves us with FarCry 3 fake HBAO (more like a tweaked SSAO), and HDAO which isn't worth the performance hit IMO.

I think these are the best drivers for me, Ive gone around the island in boat, Car, Jetski.

Ive come up againts many enemies and i get no stutter, cant use HDAO as i get the black bar but HBAO is good so i just use that.

I get a constant 60 and it never drops, Most it dropped to was 58fps.
Game is maxed out with water on medium and MSAA x4.

These drivers are keeper for now.

    @ All with 400 series GPU´s..

is this driver worth testing? or does it still have crash problems and such in games like BF3....

It's funny how Nvidia Update always pops up with "hey, I have found an update !" as soon as the installer is already running, but not before :)

you know that saying "you have to break some eggs to make omelet "? Well, in case of EA games NFS MW 2012 you can't make eggs from omelet I am afraid.:bang: It's one of those "take the money and run" releases once again. :puke2:

    To the moaners.

If your current stable release is fine, why the hell are you updating to a BETA release and then coming here with your stupid complaints?. Stick to stable release because you wont gain any advantage at all.

    Specially 400 series users!.

You get improvement, nearly everyone does. They dont mention every series.

If BF3 is crashing, LOWER YOUR OVERCLOCKS to stock and retest. BF3 is the only game that crashes when overclocked to far with my 680. Once I pulled back a bit (+200 to +180), I've never had a crash since with any driver.
