Looks good, great write up too! Downloading now.
I was stuck on that too .. lol.
I thought they just photochopped 310.64 to 310.70. Then I have to wonder what is the benefit of new profile if performance is the same.
Downloading it now...!
I'll provide feedback later this evening on my 4 series card since most people provide feedback on 5/6 series.
Is me or Battlefield 3 is looking more awesome now?Is very smooth whit this new driver!
Guess they fixing it.
well, the sli profile for FC3 is not the same as maldo's and runs the game like poo! still need to use maldo's compatibility bits. what the hell nvidia???
0x080902F5 (Far Cry 3) (310.70) to 0x0C1902F5
The release notes are a cluster**** of fixes from previous 310 drivers, kind of hard to tell what's changed from .64 to .70.
I assume that these are the only changes from .64 to .70?
Not really, the changes in .70 are spelled out very clearly in its own section.
I found it. It should be clearly labeled, it just says resolved issues after talking about the 306 driverset. Confusion stems easy when the page linked in the OP doesn't say that it is changes from .64 to .70. I guess you pulled that quote from the PDF?
“Changes and Fixed Issues in Version 310.70” on page 10
it's actually a click-able link within the PDF. Can't get much easier than this.
Looks like you are wearing new underpants and think your dick is bigger
I was going by the main page notes which were linked in the OP, which do not state it clearly.
And this driver is not even WHQL, yet.
Hopefully they are waiting on the magic fix for Borderlands 2 before going WHQL. The game is utterly broken still almost 3 months in. That and hopefully they admit they used a GTX 460 for their 680/PhysX showcase before the game released.
its smoother since last WHQL! Only crashes effected the game since then!
yay i can finally play assasins creed 3 without the horrible flickering!
Can anyone with AC3 confirm if it fixes clothing textures? That is the only thing I was getting flickering on, never noticed anything on shadows.
I doubt this game will ever be fixed, Gearbox sold this game on hype, and we all fell for it. Has there ever been an official statement from the developer that any magic fix was in the works?
It's possible they're already awaiting certification, though it's somewhat rare for Nvidia to re-release the same driver version as WHQL.
