I see everybody complaining about Windows 8 issues and now I'm really glad I didn't upgrade.

I'll stick with Windows 7 x64 until MS drops it's support or other proper OS comes out.

BTW, I'm downloading these now and I'll report any issues with them!

Theres absolutely no need to upgrade to Win8 if you dont have a Tablet or Touchscreen.

    -With 310.54 BF3 runs on 700+MHz => low perfomance.
-Space Marine runs better, but game sometime crash (artefacts appears).

BF3 increase, " followed by an 18% boost for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena "

Installing Riddick now and installing drivers soon. Feedback later.

guys with MOHW and better performance do you use Adaptive or max performance setting? I always change to max performance - wonder if thats causing the problem....

Windows 8 sucks, hell i rather use Vista then to upgrade to Win8. That tablet screen is freaking bad. I hope windows 9 is a completely new OS from Win7, because win8 seems to be a crap ass add on.

I am getting the same lowered boost clocks that I had in previous releases. I already went back to 306.23.

I didnt test B2K, i was getting these issues in TDM maps - well i played only one map Noishar Canals and then reverted to 306.97 and all was fine again @ Win7 x64.

Both 310.33 and 310.34Q had these weird fps drops (by player vs player close combat, cpu bound locations and smoke, particle fx) 5-7fps lower by min fps and if i got min 50-53ish fps, now ~42-45fps is a big difference for me. Im gonna see what's up with this release, otherwise im going back to 306.97. :infinity:

Well I've just crashed with these drivers and I've not crashed in months with the old WHQL's. Reinstalling WHQL's...

    *Edit: Game was Battlefield 3.

BF3 crashed twice in two games for me, instant uninstall. Back to 306.97...

    @NVIDIA
Both R310 drivers had 405 on Core as the idle clock. Please fix this back to 135.

Also, both drivers sucked in terms of stability for BF3 and gave literally no increases for BF3 and Skyrim. Probably for the new games like ACIII or Black Ops 2, but please focuse on mobile GPUs a bit more.

I installed these without any major hiccups. Noticed on the GeForce.com forum that they've identified what caused the black screen/flickering issue with the v310.33 beta drivers on Windows 8:

    1) Flickering Screen/Black Screen After Installing R310.33/R310.54 Drivers on
    Windows 8

    Issue
After installing the R310 driver on Windows 8, the subsequent reboot results in a black or
    flickering screen.

    Root Cause
This occurs because Windows Update performed a background installation of a Release
304 driver, which requires a reboot to complete the installation. After installing the
Release 310 driver and then rebooting the system, installation of both the Release 304 as
well as the Release 310 is completed, resulting in conflicting driver binaries and the black/
    flickering screen.

    Workaround - Prevention
To avoid the issue, reboot the system before installing the Release 310 driver.
Alternately, you can check the driver status under the Device Manager and perform the
reboot if the Device Manager indicates that a restart is needed. Then install the driver.

    Workaround - Recovery
If you did not perform the necessary reboot prior to installing the driver and now
encounter the black screen, do the following:
    1 Reboot in Safe Mode.
    2 Uninstall the driver.
3 Disconnect from the internet and then restrt the system.
4 In normal mode, install the new driver.

Same here with Just Cause 2, Mirror's Edge(finally pure-smooth with PhysX), Serious Sam 3 and with few other games where game would hitch here and there due to my dual core.

I am almost 100% sure that Windows 8 has less cpu overhead compared to Win 7, or some other CPU optimizations because my Win 8 gaming experience has been just phenomenal :)

Good drivers for me , been of Bf3 for a couple of hours no problems and seen a increase in FPS . Just one thing Ive noticed with this set ,is that Heaven DX11 benchmark is now using 109% ! Gpu usage but also seen a increase in sore .
Keepers for me . PS no clock problems and overclock and boost clock remain the same as 306.97 .
