Where does it say this?

I've had Skyrim call my 690 as two 680's before, I forget what I did to make that happen. Everything functioned normally but yeah, thinking its 670's is kind of weird.

also, crysis 2 has DSR'd on me twice now after about 15-20 mins of game time.
Temps are kept in check so could be driver as i didn't have it happen on previous sets.

 

it doesn't. This is the first change I make when I install drivers. Drops to 2d for me still, maybe it's an issue in SLI but I'm running single 680.

Getting screen tearing in Waterfox with these when scrolling.

 

To get around ridiculous region blocked content.

 

Why did you run it on extreme for 2 -570s?Isn't that out of their league?

In fact, personally, I have not noticed any difference between 304.79 and these.

 

Same here, WF is fine.


I played BF3 a bit and idk i had a feeling it ran a little smoother compared to 304.79.. I need to test some more.


Overall they're quite good @win7 x64, a lot better then last Toshiba driver 302.52?.

 

Can someone confirm if these drivers windows 8 drivers have the 1000mhz limit for any 500series cards. Might be worth a upgrade to windows 8 if so. Currently have windows 7 and the 304.79 betas.

 

I'd give them a shot but I use a modified nv_disp.inf to enable full RGB on my Bravia and the notebook driver format and inf files do not follow the same format and registry entry paths as the desktop version.

 

Cheers for these, Skyrim, BF3, Crysis 2 and Prototype 2 all feel smoother, might be my imagination, but they are definetly not worse than 304.79 anyway.

No problem with it installing NVUpdate by default, no reason for it if your only running an HTPC and will just delete it, but for gaming, especially SLI it seems silly not to use it as you will be missing out on newer profiles that could potentially fix issues/improve performance.

 

A friend was going to try these on his GTX 690. Is there really a problem with negative LOD like the one poster mentioned?

Are these faster in games because of an Image Quality drop????

 

IQ looks identical to just about every driver that came out since 2010.

Great drivers so far! Gonna try out Wanted and see if it still has the bug. Probably does since Manuel said it was only going to be fixed in the next version, but it can't hurt to check!

 

^^^hmm, DX9 or custom config, coz DX11 fixed the issue for me as in maxed in the GFX options and Advanced settings and running smooth as. Dont know at what fps though as MSI Ab wont display fps in C2 so i'll have to download fraps for 100th time

Also have you had any Driver stopped responding/crashes when playing C2 yet.
I've had about 5 in about a total of 3-4 hours game or should i say benchmarking time.

 

Yeah, just maxed DX11 + HR tex pack for me.
Didn't try DX9, but I will when I'm a bit more awake and see if it suffers from the same issue.

Also no, no issues yet. Fingers crossed.

Screw it, disabled DX11 anyway.

Yeah this game has really weird texture Lod or whatever you call it, has to be one of the lowest I've come across, and thanks for checking too.
