I installed now in Windows 8, and are WDDM 1.2
seem good for now, even chrome dev is much smoother!
This drivers have the same problem has 304.48 Beta. They don't work when editing videos on Powerdirector 10. GPU usage is at 0%.
Back to 301.42 WHQL.
I've never changed it (never had stuttering since the second or third patch) so presumably it was on Auto.
Says in the notes the Civ issue only effected 400 & 500 series :/
installing now anyway, hope it works
I just tried them in BF3 with my 570 SLI and they seem better than the 304.48 with average FPS around 100+. My second 680 croaked and is being shipped for RMA to EVGA. I had no flicker this time but with BF3 it's hard to tell if it it is the driver or Origin's servers.
good here so far ...........thx
Working great! I did install the newer version of Physx instead of the one bundled in this package.
My package showed 9.12.0604, is there a newer version?
Really nice drivers for me, shutdown problem and mouse are gone. Plays well, smooth on videos, no flickering, I'm actually impressed after some of the other ones, Keep's for me. Thanks very much for the update on drivers guys always appreciate.
O ya meant to ask, where did that newer version of PhysX come from? I grabbed but just installed the on e that came with driver package, figured safe than sorry. Anyhow whats the difference between the 2? If anyone knows, I'm curious.....Peace
This beta driver was just compiled earlier than this Physx driver was, so it was released separate.
Any BF3 improvements with these vs 304.48? Thanks!
Can you run cuda-z and see if pcie bandwidth is halved like in 304.48 drivers?
Sleep bug appears fixed, at least on the 3 times I've tried the comp powers down and just flashes the power light indicating sleep mode.
i lost all the fps i gained from the 304.48 drivers with the new 304.79.
uninstalled and went back to the excellent 304.48, they worked fantastic from day 1, no fps issues in Deus Ex or any other problem + top notch performance.
Thanks Sergio... If these drivers present the problem, I'll try that!
[sarcasim]Could you make the picture a bit bigger the next time. I didnt scroll over far enough with that picutre :bang::bang:[/sarcasim]
Not his fault you're not using a proper monitor
