I uninstalled the Physx that comes with these and used the other one, still crashes on startup with CIV V directx 11.

I'm pissed, on one hand I want to play the new expansion, but then there's alot of games with FPS boosts with these drivers :/

Confirmed. I get that, too with my 690 Quad-SLI. It's random. Sometimes, teleports no problem. Alt-Tab in/out fixes it but it's inconvenient and clearly a bug.

I think it's related to SLI. My second PC with 560 Ti (v304.48 driver) does not exhibit this problem in Diablo III.

I launched Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny after installing these drivers.

Mouse cursor was invisible unless I moved the mouse (even then kept on flickering). Slowdowns here and there and ending up with a nice BSOD (something I haven't experienced for years now).

Went back to older beta faster than the speed of light. I swear after reverting back to old beta (301.42) my mouse feels more responsive under Windows 7 as well.

TBH I don't even know if us older card owners should bother with new drivers at all. I mean I played Max Payne 3 on all setting set to High/Very High at 1080p. I still haven't found a reason to upgrade my display card for ages now. :))

Working great on my system. I don't play BF3, WOW or D3 so no issues thankfully!

Had a driver stopped responding yesterday.

That's the first time again since the 285 series.

Hmm, as i wrote above i did get a Driver Stopped Responding. Which only happend in WoW. I been playing Skyrim after that and it was fine.

Perhaps i should go back to the previous Driver aswell then.

Using the driver with D3 here since for some days, runs fine.
Last patch introduced some rubber banding though, the thing it was said to fix for those who had it :I

Yep, and stuttering has become worse, it's been replaced by actualy freezes now for many.
Performance went down the drain with last patch, and before that it wasn't good either.

They're really struggling to get such a graphically simple game running well apparently.

It's WHQL not Beta the 301.42 and yeah it's one of the best Driver ever for my 460 GTX :) and Fermi isn't as old.

it's definitely a reference point for me for the new 300 series driver see my Multitasking test in the 301.42 thread :)
i though shortly also tested it with the G92 and it also worked flawless their :)

I was having the clock speed locking to idle speeds bug with latest WHQL's. This set fixed that completely so i'm happy.

Oops, I avoided betas last time and only upgraded to WHQL. Out of habit called 42 beta. :p

Anyways, played some games. Everything is fine now for me. I'll just wait for WHQL again..

That is a Creative Drivers bug. I use the PAX Drivers that are tweaked and don't have that issue anymore.

In Deus ex: HR if you turn OFF triple buffering in the game's setup options the 1fps bug goes away.

test1) Max prerendered frames 1 and triple buffer on = 1fps
test2) max prerendered frames app controlled and triple buffer on = 1fps
test3) max prerendered frames 1 and triple buffer off = 1fps
test4) max prerendered frames app controlled and triple buffer off = 60fps

PAX drivers are now pure gibberish... When I used my Sound Blaster Live! on my old PC, and there was a Japanese guy modding those drivers, they were good. Now that russian fellow is doing nothing but enrolling people with his sets of drivers. DanielK's ones are the best modded drivers, but since I don't have any issues on my system, I'm sticking with the latest official betas from Creative.

Back on topic, I just discovered that turning aero off (i.e. using Windows "Basic" or "Classic" themes) my FPS on skyrin were sky right and any form of stuttering is gone now, highest settings @1080p. Anyone else has the same effect? This is more intense with these driver than it was on the 29X ones.
