This driver should not be used with Windows Vista or Windows 7. This driver offers full support for the new Windows 8 display driver model WDDM 1.2.
So these are just certified versions of the v302.80 betas released a couple of weeks ago then? They were fine but didn't contain at least two games fixes that are in the v304.48 drivers so I don't think I'll bother trying them myself. I'll wait for the next R304 driver I think. Don't have issues with the v304.48 ones now I've uninstalled the 3D Vision drivers.
Does newer release date denote newer drivers or are the 304.48 beta's still newer than this WHQL release? Im using 304.48 with no probs atm..
The v304.48 drivers contains two bug fixes for F1 2010 DX11 and Bully Scholarship Edition that the v302.80 ones didn't so I'd say that the v304.48 are the better, if not newer, drivers for use with Windows 7. These v302.82 WHQL ones are likely just certified versions of the v302.80 betas and probably don't contain any additional fixes or improvements. Of course, there's nothing to stop you trying them to see if they fix any issues you might have. You can always uninstall them and reinstall the v304.48 drivers if you're not happy with them.
Well these drivers are good for me so far. It the only driver that allows me to play Max Payne 3 so far on Win 8 RP.
