Well since these are leaked... have you tried the 301.24 from Nvidia?
That's my next try...! Thing is when I went back to the 301.10 I still had the same issue, looking at graphs (until I'm blue in the face), looks like it's all linked to the blood power management.. Bah..11
Made no difference.. I'm screwed... Looking at a fromat.. AGAIN..!!!!!
I've been having some jittering issues in Dolphin (emulator), every so often it slows down to what looks like a stuttery 20FPS, but the FRAPS FPS counter is still saying 60FPS. It wasn't like this until I swapped my HD6950 2GB 12.3 preview drivers for a GTX680 and 301.25 beta drivers.
Maybe it's a beta driver issue? Actual games seem fine.
Hi FrenchKiss, r u sure there is a %10 raise on 3dmark11 xtreme pls? cause my friend said its the same point but also physics score lowered 1000 points.
Hi ThEcLiT, yeah I'm pretty sure of it. I went from ~P8900 to ~P9300 and from ~X3100 to ~X3450.
Unfortunately I just wrote the figures down on excel sheet with 301.10 but here goes a screenshot for the 301.25 xtreme score. (it says 460 GTX but it's just my Physx card haha)
I tried the 301.25 and they seem fine. However, i didn't get that much of an increase in 3D mark 11, if i even got any at all. I had P10996 points with 301.10 and now i have P11002 points with 301.25 which is basically a statistical error. Drivers seem fine, no problems so far. I tried them on BF3/Crysis 2 and Crysis 2 seems a bit smoother somehow. So far so good.
P11002 - 301.25
P10996 - 301.10
P10979 - 301.24
All scores are with identical clocks for CPU and GPU...
Thanks FrenchKiss, and TurboMan. Seems like there is a boost on xtreme score. And agree, this driver and 301.24 is like made for Bf3 and crysis2 great so far.
I'm getting stuttering in Dolphin (though FPS isn't dropping below 60), and I noticed in MW3, when I move it looks like my surroundings are going at 30FPS but my character moves like 60, vsync on Dolphin, not on MW3. Crysis 2, Batman AC, Lost Planet 2...all fine with vsync or no vsync. Only Direct X9 games/applications seem to have the jittering problem.
Will report back if a lower driver version fixes it.
Decided to report back anyway.
Went from 301.10, to 300.83, both the same as 301.25. Stuttering in Dolphin remains, MW3 looks like **** unless it has Vsync turned on. Maybe MW3 always looked like that with vsync off and I just didn't notice because I was busy trying to play that garbage.
Good performance in Skyrim and L.A. Noire and Dirt 3. Constant 60+ fps in Alan Wake
anyone got a mirror on these drivers? download link slow as dial-up.
Here you go:
