Do you happen to have a Sandforce based SSD as a boot drive? That is a common problem for that controller. If you do then you should try upgrading the SSD firmware.

If not then no more ideas.

And its crazy that these drivers come out when I'm in class  The changelog looks promising enough. Will try it as soon as I get home.

Very much so, by my recent singular post I managed to single-handedly cause one or more Nvidia engineers in charge of drivers to travel back in time and break it before I could make my only post outlining the issues that are in fact worsened by not doing anything at all other than overscan as of the time of posting.

Leave your petty accusations to a board dedicated to projection.

Do these drivers fix the pink screen of death that was happening on the last drivers? GTX 460 here and I would get random PSOD, had to revert to an older driver.

Bah, can't use the Driver FXAA for Skyrim :<

And so far my first experience with Adaptive V-Sync is complete fail. Nice Screen Tearing at low FPS. :puke2:

Ill stick with the default V-Sync.

It states in the release notes, it will disable itself if the game supports it. BF3 and Skyrim already support FXAA in the game... so no you won't. Unless you can force it with some 3rd party app (nhancer), which I dont know if that works or not.

Performance Boost – Increases performance for GeForce 400 Series and 500 Series GPUs in several PC games vs. GeForce 296.10 WHQL-certified drivers. Results will vary depending on your GPU and system configuration:

NICE. Going to install now and give feed back later .

You can use the driver FXAA in BF3 & Skyrim. You have to use Nvidia Inspector though to remove the flag which disables the option.

Just make sure you disable the in-game FXAA before doing this.

    yes, via NV Inspector

you cant make a screenshot with driver FXAA though

Gave up on Skyrim, because I can live with a bit of input lag, but Adaptive is simply SUPERB for Team Fortress 2.

It pretty much guarantees stutter-free gameplay experience.

Yes i have, i only used windowed mode so i could get a screenshot of the game and GPU-Z at the same time. I downloaded these off Geforce.com because the UK download page says "page not found", i am downloading the US drivers now to see if they work.

Install went fine. I played X3TC and BatmanAC bench: didn't noticed any improvements yet nor issues. Still have to try them on TESV and BF3.

Coming from the 301.10 and these are keepers till now.

You could use MSI Afterburner which has the On Screen Display, that will display the same info on Full Screen games.
