But you aren't using the ME1&2 compatibility flag. That particular flag isn't as good and causes some visual issues in ME1. I did have some weird CTD's in ME1 with 29x.xx drivers too which made the game basically unplayable.

    Ah, my mistake. Sorry.

I've only started running through ME1 again after a long time. Not had any ctd's so far though (3-4hrs in) but I'll keep it in mind that the aa flag could be the cause if they do crop up.

PSOD happened to me once only. I'm using k-lite codec pack and all I did was re-installed it, reconfigure and restart. Currently watching 2 movies simultaneously thru Media Player Classic, no more PSOD since 3/15.

For those who ask about Unreal Tournament 3 AA problem. I'm forcing 4XSSGGSA, and it's working flawlessly. Multisampling and Supersampling aren't working, though. And If I enable Ambient Occlusion, anything form Performance to High Quality, if there is a soft edged shadow in a wall, and my weapon is in front of it, I can see the walls shadow through the weapon.

One last thing. The whole scene ambient occlusion is flickering between really high quality, and low quality, sometimes even off. My fps don't spike, but it's kinda annoying and I don't know why this is happening.

I've been using these drivers for a couple of days now and I've experienced no problems with video playback on youtube or MPC and all of my games are running fine. BF3 runs better than on these than any of the other 29x.xx drivers I've tried.

I had occasional texture corruption in BF3 on ultra settings with the 290.53 betas and a bad stuttering problem with the 295.73 drivers. I'm definitely keeping these...

Lols, texture flickering on Shepard in Mass Effect 3 in Cerberus HQ, TDR's while playing some AVI's and 'Set SLI configuration' text not showing again in Control Panel.

Not bad for the first hour of use with them!! Think Nvidia ought to train some new Monkeys to write their drivers :bang:

    didn't read everything since it's really a lot :D
so with my 560ti i had driver stopped responding errors by time to time in 285 version. since it was 2d/low3d mode only i keeped em and didn't go for 290. in 295 beta i used to have psod and only reboot fixed problem. now i have 295.73 whql since they come out i had no problems at all. but i'm mechanic and we had race yesterday so last week i almost didn't used my pc at all..
i'm not going to change drivers until i found out any errors..

I think he meant Transparency AA - sparse grid super sampling.

PSOD's several times on a clean install X2 although the driver recovered without rebooting the unstableness of the driver package and the fact that it happened with nothing going on was the linchpin for me to rollback to the previous version...
Uggh! nVidia this is as bad as last weeks windows update that offered an update to MS Games that was older than what folks had and MS had to yank it!

Thanks guys for the heads up on the driver instability. I'll keep 295.73 for now.

296.10 are perfect unless you are using GTX 560ti
