Not experiencing it either but everyones system is different :p You might end up running into problems that others don't have

Not fixed for me using the 285.64, still stuttering.

Let's wait for the official fix :p

I'm only asking because I'm curious but are NVIDIA ever going to reinstate support for RAGE's Smart v-sync setting? I'm sure it was available in the 285.38 and 285.58 beta drivers but seems to have disappeared in the 285.62 WHQLs.

Any idea where to find 285.64?
I have .62 installed and I have yet to finish a game without crashing...

Been using these for a few days and I saw no difference in BF3 compared to 285.62... no stuttering on my system from either driver.

Stuttering affects only i7's with HT, or any cpu with HT enabled.
All those users like me with an i5 or Core 2 Quad are completely fine with it.

these are way better than 285.62 for my gts 250. no crashes at all . 285.62 would crash any application using the gpu.

    Better compression was used.

As has been said, these won't install for a gtx 580.

You'll need a modified inf, this drivers for mobile cards.

    WAY better lol Thx.

Hey, do anybody knows why i couldnt mod the inf of this driver to match my card?

    I placed this string

    %NVIDIA_DEV.1200.01% = Section005, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1200

below the amd64 6.1 kernel version part (or something like that, the header that says below is the list of Win 7 supported cards), at the beggining list.

And this one on the last lists of cards

    NVIDIA_DEV.1200.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti"

For some reason it didnt worked at all while on previous drivers worked, so i had to dwnload laptopvideo2go inf. Does anybody can shed some light on this?

I always thought it was a matter of incluidig the id on the OS list that i had (win7, x64) and the ID on the list of card names (i guess the first list says to the installer "This device is supported" and the second one "this device has this name" ) and that was it.

Did the 16k textures really make a difference over 8k ones ?

With 16k pages available, the game loads all textures in a scene exactly once. With 8k pages you'll see textures being loaded in again each time you turn around.
I haven't tried with the current drivers, but when I tried this earlier I had to disable CUDA transcoding to get 16k pages stable. As long as the PPF value is not too low (the default 12 is ludicrously low), CPU-transcoding is acceptable since it will occur only once when loading a scene.

yes like Bluesteel said, it eliminates pop-ups completely, also you have a bit better filtering in the distance.

And 285.62 driver uses 256mb less..
