BSOD on driver update. Twice. Only after Driver Sweeper + manual delete + full install with useless for me 3DVision it is finally installed. And setup also forgot to install PhysX, had to do it manually...

So many people with installation problems  try re-downloading directly from the site again, could have been a corrupted download.

Edit: So far so good, no driver crashes or anything.

The problem is with the 2090 series. Fallout 3 used to be unplayable for me with my gtx280... constant stuttering and massive lag when going into VATS mode.

No stuttering on my current card and much reduced lag when going into vats.

    O.T

Do these drivers offer any performance boost in RAGE. Anything over 4AA and I get massive frame rate dips in certin parts. With 4AA it's 60 solid.

    EDIT:

These drivers definitely give a boost in rage, I can run with 8AA and maintain 60 frames constant now but it used to plummet, it still does going to 16AA though even though GPU usage is only 40% and vram is only 700mb :S:S:S

    Game patch needed me thinks

    Hi.

I've got the latest nVidia whql drivers installed on my system (i7 / GTX580) and I'm getting an almost black screen when loading some multi-player maps. I've tried going back to the older beta drivers and they seem to clear it up but I get random crashes with those drivers and not with the new whql's.

Is anyone else having this issue ? A way around it for me is to change the screen resolution from my native res to something else and then back to my native res. The game works fine then.

    Thanks for your time :)

No mentions of the GTX 570? Aren't we getting any increase at all?

The increases are pretty much in general, they just chose to display only the 560 and 580

    Resolution and settings?

As for the drivers, works great so far. No crashes or anything, only played BF3 :wanker:.

Settings? I hear going from 4xMsaa to 2x helps, also turn off Hyperthreading in bios and try if that helps you.

Everyting Ultra and HBAO off. I'm getting smooth FPS in the 60's but it plays really choppy, like some sort of stutter like old days when ur HDD was loading, except i got it running of an SSD, so that isn't the problem.

But ill try what you suggest since i do run 4x MSAA.
