Didn't even ask for a restart and doesn't include PhysX package either.

    It does.
Try moving the scrollbar or your mousewheel down.

Anybody know where the frame per sec. limiter ManualG said would be in this set is hiding? I looked in the control panel before work this morning and couldn't find it.

Physx are the same version as in the previous 2 béta versions.
Could be that a new install isn't needed...?

I'm also on the same driver due to this issue, can anyone confirm this driver has resolved it?

so you downgraded your computer so you can still use that crampy ol' OS ;)

rofl, the last computer i got running WinXP is my EEEPC and yet on a dual boot with ubuntu, as it's slow as a snail to boot (close to 1min with ZinXP, less than 10sec with Ubuntu ), look Fugly and still got piss poor performance ( websurfing and normal usage is like twice as fast on ubuntu than xp ).
i just keep it stripped bare to play deus ex 1, dungeon keeper, citizen kabuto and other stuff from the good ol' days. but really on even a less than average modern computer i wouldn't even think about installing XP on something else than a Virtuabox.

the frame limiter is not inlcuded in this driver set. the p-state bug is still here. the stuttering i was getting in rage is gone now and no more light flickering in dead rising OTR, awesome

at least 2 of my 3 complaints are fixed

check that thread and observe who is getting it.. Its mostly custom 570gtx, few 560TI and some 580gtx here and there.

about P-state well it depends, but the only time that it caused issues was with Firefox (280.xx).. So now with 285.xx it doesn't enter in P0-state all the time (for longer times) and fan stays quiet, so yes its "fixed" like it was before with 270.xx and 275.xx driver.

I never had P-state issues in games, like down clocking to P8-state low3d while playing a game.

    and btw;
    lame sarcastic troll attempt.

you dont know what you're saying:bang:

This glitch started with 275.xx drivers and it happens only for a micro second right before logon screen, its not a big deal, but still it didnt happen before with 270.xx, that's why...
Anyway nv was able to reproduce it and like i said its not fixed, yet.

These drivers give me a black screen in windows media center. Audios there just no image, wierd. Reverted back to older drivers and works fine again. Hmmm.

I didnt play any games yet, but i guess they'll be fine.

Yea 285.27 were very good, just like 285.58Q in the end.. At first I had some issues (occasional micro stutter) in L4D2 but when i enabled threaded opt.- ON it stopped..

Media Center - black screen (TV)

Same issue here. Black screen while watching TV in Win7 Media Center :( Sound is still working of course.
Tried several installs/uninstalls with different driver cleaners, no luck (all with Intel graphics & Lucid Virtu on btw, they never have caused me problems before).
Reverted back to good ole 285.38 and everything is fine again.

That's a fine way to force everone into playing Battlefield 3, NVidia: killing other basic functionality in the drivers :bang:

had the same issue, easily duplicated when running dx11 games windowed as well. I tried upping my voltage to 1.050 from my stock 1.00 and still crashed. Then I found a site that had someone playing wow in dx11 having the same issue. He suggested upping the voltage to 1.063 and I got no more crashes. My cards for some reason stock were set to 1.00 on the gpu core voltage, which when I read around newer revisions are set to 1.050 or higher(?). I use MSI Afterburner to adjust the voltage, its pretty straight forward. Again, to test you can run your game in windowed mode in dx11(Mine would cause the display driver to crash immediately when doing this, running in full screen sometimes I would go 5 minutes sometimes a few hours before I could get it to crash). Worth a shot.

Ignore this I didnt read your followup comment, sorry dude.Maybe it helps someone else though.
