i had this exact same problem with 191.00 beta and eVGA Precision 1.8.0. i would set fans to 100% and then after my PC would come out of sleep mode my fans would be at 60%, they would only change upon coming from sleep mode though. strange ...

These drivers have been running great for me but I do have 1 little problem I hope you guys can solve.

I like using custom resolutions, and sometimes I tend to set 16:9 ones (partifcularly 1680x945). Now, the resolution works fine but it doesn't display right. Unlike before, the letterboxed image isn't centered on the screen anymore. Instead, it appears all the way at the bottom of the monitor, with the black bars placed above. Pretty wierd since I never ran into this with any other driver before.

Here's how it looks like below:

    EDIT:
Just realized that it was only affecting new 16:9 resolutions I was creating (1440x810, 1680x945, etc). Other resolutions already selectable by default on the cp like 1280x720 display right. Hmm, think it might be something wrong with my custom res settings? Default settings used to work right before.

Any experiences with drivers compared to 186.18, especially in GTA 4?
    Better? performance drop??

i always keep the 186.18 for fallout 3...you should try this driver with gta4 and see how you get on...the 191 drivers are a lotbetter than the 190 series of drivers

Veteran, you mean they're still jerky when you pan the scene in Fallout 3? I found that in every single 190 and 191 driver to date, incl Riddick Dark Athena. So havent tried 191.07, but may if someone reports thats changed. On 186.91 currently which I find the best to date, a solid driver where nearly everything works right in Win 7.
