I just tried an older driver just to test some games stability. Turns out that the "nVidia FPS Limiter V3" also works on older nVidia drivers flawlessly with the new nVidia Inspector 2.3.0.10, which is strange. The option does not appear on the Control Panel; it only does on new drivers, but it does appear on the Inspector and works as intended. This is to let anyone know you DON'T need the new drivers to enjoy the new fps limiter, Inspector unlocks it for anyone. What a wonderful tool, to say the least. It just makes me a bit disappointed that so many driver options are literally hidden on other drivers and nVidia Inspector reveals them all and then nVidia comes up and presents them like if they were the latest innovation on gaming. Happy gaming!
Evidently they can be "older", but not too old. I tried it with 436.48 and the V3 frame limiter wasn't functional.
I tried the 441.66 drivers which seem to give me the best performance and the fps limiter works fine.
I test this last night on 441.66 and it didnt work unless i using it wrong? I put v3 on 30 just to see if was working and nothing the V3 and framelimit both have to be set for it to work?
You are right. I think it does not work for some games, it's on some sort of beta state. I decided just to keep the 441.87 drivers and be done with it, the limiter is really good and works better than RTSS at some games, so it's great to have both.
