    97.46 in windows update

Just so you guys know 97.46 comes in on windows update in vista RTM if you uninstall and go back to your boxed drivers then run windows update in vista youll see it as an optional update.

Actually you don't have to do that. All you have to do is change the name of MOVIES folder to any other name. That way you don't have to run it in compatibility mode and it runs much better!

Thanks for that suggestion. Windows update installed 7.15.10.9746. However these drivers don't have as many pieces to them as normal nvidia drivers, so presumably there's some stuff missing. OpenGL?

If you install those drivers you loose Nvidia control panel. Besides that, I don't think it's any better than the drivers from Nvidia.

Nvidia Control panel in vista is buggy and hardly works for S**t in vista anyway. i just hope we get to see some working full drivers from nvidia soon.

these drivers comming in from windows update although ya not as "robust" as a full driver distro are ment for getting windows basic functions working better than the boxed drivers. the really interesting thing here is that the leaked version of these drivers were not WHQL for vista and these are . also the leaked version was probably just some Frankendriver with inf's and cpl added from god knows where.

BTW I've been having some issues with BSOD and vista reported it to be a problem with the Nvidia driver used. It said to try windows update and it installed 7.15.10.9752, so the windows update driver version changed again.

Haven't had a BSOD in the last 20 mins or so, hopefully the problem is solved now.
