SLI is working again with these drivers. Yaay
gud gud , i had sum real problems with the 91.31's , ill try them
Does anyone know when/if they'll release x64 drivers?
There will surelly be a x64 version. 3DMark sucks. Why should those scores matter when game benchmarks are real-life? Who cares about 3DMark? Test them on games and you will be more happy with those results.
Does anyone know if they fixed the black box issues in counterstrike and odd text colors and the render bug with awp crosshairs in these, if not I won't bother....
this is not interesting ... the scores are about the same ... tell more
did you loose or gain points ? something in % ? or values ?
everything seems good so far
and this is new
the "conformant texture clamp"
and for me a nice temp drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius ... (do not ask why)
will do some benchmarks 2005 and 2006 (3dmark) tomorrow ... now I tired 02:38 AM here
Everytime I reinstall a driver I get a new monitor LOOOOOOOOOL
check this out ! I wrote a thread about this ... dxdiag refresh rate force from troubleshooting doesn't work anymore !
so I reinstalled nvidia drivers 13 times !!! after 10 times you loose the ability to force a refresh rate and this is the result !!! you need a refresh rate forcer ... sad
I get a problem somewhat related to you. When I install this driver, it installs the "Default Monitor" driver. Ok, I'll just install my monitors drivers. But wait, when I install the monitor drivers, I get an error saying "your monitor cannot be detected". WTF? No worries, back to 91.31, only to find I can't install my monitor drivers again. So what I had to do was shutdown pc, leave monitor powered on. Disconnect monitor from videocard, connect back and reboot. Then my monitor finally shows up in the hardware profile.
So it seems the 91.33's hose my monitor and I don't like Prey so I'm back to the 91.31's.
HDTV clips look good still the cpu usage dropped only 10-20 % max ... it was 100% (amd64 @ 2450 MHz) and now it's 85 % ... sometimes 90-95 (rarely)
Games plays super smooth and look very good ...
sorry about the hdtv support tho ... I've reinstalled nvidia pure video decoder but nothing happened ...
it installed a default monitor (not whql'ed lol ) on my computer too ...
but I'm not pissed about cause I got 13 of them now I'll have to reinstall another driver and then back to this so I do not have "13" on my comp
I think you should give them a second chance and read the entire "what's new on this driver" on nvidia's site (the release notes) ...
There is no bug go to the new control panel click advanced settings, click video & television, under video click adjust video color settings , click the correction tab than change it to, do not use temperatute correction .... the funny colors are gone!
Interesting ... at least ... Doom 3 (ver 1.3) seems to play a little better ...
I use these settings:
1024x768 @ 100 Hz
Ultra high quality + everything turned on (vsync also on)
8X AA from the game
Supersampling from the driver
seems a little more smooth
or maybe I'm tired right now ...
Has the CS 1.6 black squares bug been fix this time? i have been tracking the 90."s
The conformant texture clamp was always available as an option.
Listen.. nobody needs your negative comments about what I said.. just comment on the drivers itself. If I want to use damn Solitare to test the drivers than thats my problem or enjoyment not yours. The benching with 3dmark06 along with any other program is just a base to how a set may or may not perform.. I only gave my impression of the drivers and how nVidia is being responsive to its customers. So next time how about keeping your trap shut unless you care to add to the thread rather than annoy someone.
You didn't understand Nave, theres now use hardware, use opengl method, none for clamp, different then before, where it was just off/on.
What did it do anyway? I'm on 91.31 and i keep it on. What does comformant texture clamp means?
Edit: sry i google'd it and from what i understand it's best to keep it on.
Hum... *twiddles thumbs*
How long does it usually take them to get out the x64 drivers?
I notice that they released new Vista x86/x64 drivers but no XP x64 drivers
New driver, oh yeah!
